I have lunched here on a number of occasions and if one gets lost it is behind the President Butter factory! The Manoir dates back some many hundreds of years and is 100% Normande. From restaurant to service and with a robust menu and seasonal at that. In the summer there is a small shop in the grounds where one... More

Delightful hotel , very old and beautiful . Room was on second floor , no lift but not a problem for us . Large ,comfortable bed , warm and delightfully furnished . It's real , old style French but with modern comfort . Good view out of the window at the garden and drive up to the Manoir . Food... More

stayed there from 04.09 - 05.09. We had a warm welcome, our room was big enough for 3 people. The interior is not the modern state of art, but has charme anyway. The breakfast was a nice one! We liked the silence a lot, but without a car you are lost

We visited for the second time, last time by helicopter this time by car. The same patron/chef and wife Cecile, the same great welcome and outstanding service and superb 5 star food. The local specialities are a must. The thatched building in the garden houses local wines spirits and other local produce. 5 minutes from Ville Deux les Poelles the... More

This hotel is situated in the countryside but is also quite near the motorway. The grounds are lovely and there are nice views. The welcome was good and the room was excellent. The meal in the evening was interesting and well presented and the wine was reasonably priced as was the excellent breakfast.

Comfortable rooms on the top floor of the Manoir. Evening meal absolutely top rate from a very extensive menu, good wine list as well as recommendations. Artisan beer from the region a worth a try before dinner. Meals cooked on wood fired stoves. Service quiet calm and efficient. Good breakfast in the traditional French manner.

I spent a lovely evening here with my 2 children during our holiday nearby in July 2016. It is a beautiful place, very tranquil, well organised. The food was exceptional and really very good value. The dining experience as a whole was excellent: I've already mentioned the food but everything else was fab quality too from table linen, cutlery, crockery... More

We have a house down the road from this but friends stay here and the restaurant is very nice and affordable - best place for miles and it's quiet. You cannot go wrong if in this area but it's popular so book in advance

This is the perfect lunch break from Cherbourg heading south - just over an hour. We needed the SatNav to find it but it was less than 5 mins form the motorway and such a delight - love to stay here too. Friendly service, amazing meal (specialising in grills from the fire - I had the most delicious pork chop... More

This was the last of four different hotels on a short break to find some new hotels as many of our old favourites have changed hands or closed down. This hotel will certainly be on our list of places to return to. Our room on the second floor was very comfortable with a large en-suite with separate toilet and bathroom.... More
