We had been during the Pushkar Fair this year. This is the best place to stay, in case you want to visit the camel fair. The mela grounds is just across the street and it won't take you more than 1 minute to visit the fair. Also, the property is quite decently maintained with staff. Food is good and prepared...

This is located directly across the fair grounds. There is lots of loud music and other noises coming from the fair, it is very noisy and impossible to get any sleep. The property is not well maintained.

i want to give 4 star because of the location. The property is big and you can park your vehicles. Staff is friendly. But it is not maintained properly. Because of off-season, there was no staff to cook dinner. Not that we mind it, as we had planned to eat outside only. Overall a nice place outside of hustling city,...

Staying at RTDC Tourist Hotel makes sense if one is visiting the Pushkar animal fair. It is about 7-10 mins walk from the Marwar bus stand on NH 89 and bang opposite the animal fair ground. Its a bit far away from the Pushkar lake and Brahma temple, though nothing drastic. The hotel has a beautiful lawn and pairs of...

If you want visit the mela there is no better place to stay than RTDC Pushkar Mela Grounds hotel. It is bang in the centre of the grounds - you come out of the hotel and you are in the mela. Don't however depend on the restaurant here...which is decidedly pathetic and uninspiring.

Booked non AC rooms well in advance for 2 nights in the middle of the Pushkar Mela. All the pictures on the web site, with the gardens are of the deluxe rooms. We went for the Non AC option being the winter months and were so disappointed to find the rooms at quite a distance from the main compound housing...

The annual Pushkar Camel Fair is almost like a ritual for us and the RTDC run Tourist Village has also become a permanent fixture. It is nothing grand, in fact for the rest of the year, it is nothing but a small sleepy motel on the Ajmer Nagaur highway. But during the Camel Fair, the tourist village with twin cottages...

The hotel is really nice. There are twin cottages housed in beautiful meadow. The staff is so courteous they make you feel like royals.

Hotel RTDC Tourist village is right on the entry of pushkar from nagaur side. It is located right on Highway. But road to room distance is sufficient enough to be peaceful environment. Hotel setup is twin cottages scattered on periphery of ground and in middle of all cottages is well maintained and very spacious lawn. lots of open space. I...

“Chose the aircondioned deluxe rooms, as they have a nice patio with chairs and provide an aura of safety being enlosed by a boundary. During the mela RTDC sets up a food court which runs 24 hours and can be a boon if you want a quick snack or are on a budget and dont want to waste hours waiting for your food.”
