The hotel was really large and felt very empty. The decor was incredibly old fashioned but not in a good way, more Miss Havisham. We decided to have food in the hotel the 1st night but regretted it once we saw the selection of food. We opted for the buffet and it really was quite awful. The range of food...

The Olde World charm this hotel offers is gorgeous, the outdoor garden and pool area is very well done, full of traditional Indian charm, hanging swings in cabana style areas. The swimming pool was very clean and large with great atmosphere, only poolside complaint are the mostly (but not all) ratty raggy towels. Comfortable sunbeds. This hotel offers a lovely...

After a long drive from Jaipur to Pushker we were looking forward to a relaxing afternoon in a beautiful, old heritage hotel. We checked in the the Jagat Palace and as we walked to our room we're becoming uneasy. The grounds were not well maintained, the hotel looked and felt as if it needed s jolly good clean. Our room...

The Jagat palace is a replica, but they have done a good job making it look like a Rajasthani palace. Check in was very fast. We stayed in room 309. Its was comfortable, good large beds, reasonably large bathroom, and a cute balcony. You do have to be careful as the balcony railing is pretty low. But this is a...

Upon arrival, the desert setting emits an essence of a palatial oasis. With a stately walled perimeter, 3 grand buildings await us inside. The inner garden courtyard and swimming pool are spectacular, as are the building interiors. Once settled in, the eye candy becomes just a little diluted. We arrived early in the day and our initial thoughts were that...

For a town with no meat or alcohol, the dining room staff and kitchen at the Jagat Palace was exceptional. The pool was a cool temperature but beautiful and in March we had it all to ourselves. Our rooms looked out over the garden and I enjoyed coffee on the tiny balcony watching monkeys swing along the parapet on the...

It's a beautiful hotel from the outside, like an oasis - that's all. The rooms are nice on first look, but totally not confertable. The beds are too high, the air conditioning is old, There are no amenities - no shampoo, no condioner - only a dispenser with soap. The bathroom needs an urgent update! The food was OK, good...

We had 2 nights here and overall enjoyed our stay. That being said the grandeur of the place felt somewhat faded and it was surprisingly quiet for a hotel that was fully booked (e.g. There was no-one else at breakfast either day in a big dining room with a large buffet laid out). The reality wasn't quite as sparkling as...

This hotel is about 2 miles from Pushkar city center. There isn't much nearby (i.e., within walking distance of the hotel) in terms of restaurants, shops, or attractions. It's also rather difficult to get from the hotel to the city center without some type of vehicle because of the road conditions; walking doesn't appear to be safe even in daylight....

I would have never known that this treausre existed. Pushkar is a lovely place and the outskirts are far from fully developed. When our driver, Gokul, told us we arrived at the hotel, I glanced out of the car in horror as he made a right turn into a barely one car dirt road and a cow appearing at the...
