Hotel Rupmati is a great place to have lunch/dinner while you are visiting Mandu. Right on the main road, you can have a very good tasty food. The service is not bad, though it can be much quicker. The Hotel itself provides good facilities for visiting guests and it's centrally located.

This is a nice budget property at Mandu. The rooms were basic but comfortable, the bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Food was good. Most of the rooms seemed to be having a valley view. In the mornings a lot of birds could be spotted like the Grey Hornbill, Parakeets, Magpie Robins, Bulbuls, Barbets, Treepies, Drongos, Sunbirds and...

We checked into this hotel after a long bus ride from Indore to Mandu. Checked into the room and dropped off our bags so we could rent some cycles to check out Mandu. When we returned there was rat droppings all over the room and our backpack had been chewed into. The front desk moved us into another room(which they...

Rooms are very basic. But from the spacious garden you can command a great view of the gauge. The garden is a nice place to sit for a meal or drinks.(bring your own beer of coffee ,if you are selective in brands). Birds and monkeys( not aggressive as long as you pretend not to notice them) are fun to watch....

Ate 2 lunches here in Mandu, both traditional Indian foods. The butter roots were delicious. Service excellent. Looked, but didn't stay, at 2 rooms, overlooking the gorge. They were clean, neat and had good bathrooms.

There is nothing special about this rather spartan joint on the outskirts of Mandu village, if it were not for the views. Directly towards sunrise over the hills. All the bungalows open onto the valley. So forget comfort, amenities, this is youth hostel level. Luckily I travel with a kettle, so a hot Indian shower was no problem. The restaurant...

The hotel is situated perfectly at the cliff of the hill . You get a great view of the valley. But the rooms are very poorly maintained. The geysers weren't working, the staff was lazy, ill trained although polite. The food was ordinary. The hotel management needs to wake up to the potential of this place. The rooms are wheelchair...
