If you are travelling with family or as couples, I would recommend not to consider this...not so very clean rooms and the place does not look safe at all in the night...food was pretty good but not really worth it!

We had a great time staying at the Mowgli Guest House. Staff was kind and helpful, food was good. Our little house was basic but really clean. And the Mowgli has definitively the best location, from our terrace (hammock) we had a wonderful view over rice fields and the perfect sunset. Thank you for everything, kind regards

Visited here for lunch, nice restaurant could do with some new seating and cushions but nonetheless a decent spot. Nice view down to the river, food was good and arrived quickly and reasonably priced.

I like the place. I had first visited the same property in 2011 and now again in 2017. Both times it was on a bike. Let me start with the positives: 1) Amazing people at the resort - Especially Mr. Sreenivas who was handling the bookings. He went out of his way to help us with the bookings 2) Chilled...

Because of some online goofup we were informed that our booking wasn't confirmed once we reached Hampi from Mumbai... The owner helped us with our make shift accommodation and made sure we were well taken care of. This probably is the biggest guest house in Hampi and has amazing view. Make sure you call up the place and confirm your...

The food was great. Do try english breakfast at the place. Enjoy coffee while playing boardgames and watching sunset at the place. Complete value for money. The service was great and the staff was very cordial. They specially served us food even at 3 am in the morning.

Mowgli Guest House is a charming, friendly and very relaxed place to stay for a few days to explore Hampi - it is across the river from the main town which means it is very chilled. We stayed in a lovely round thatched hut overlooking the paddy fields which was delightful. The rooms are basic but very clean and the...

I could not have been happier. I turned up unbooked and was given a beautiful little cottage overlooking the paddy fields and river in the distance with a rocking bed (!) to swing in whilst I did so. There was hot water and clean sheets. The rates were very reasonable for the room. The food was a little higher than...

On my bus ride to Hampi, my wallet got stolen, which meant I arrived in Hampi with no money at all. I strolled through the town asking to leave my backpack at any guesthouse so I could go to the police station. I was refused several times, till I went to Mowgli. They offered me food, water and said I...

First off, it needs to be mentioned, that you cannot find a hotel in Hampi. You will have to do with guest houses. They are run almost like a hotel, only you get very basic amenities. I have been to Hampi twice and found out that Mowgli is among the good guest houses. The rooms have a basic bed and...
