We were a family of three that included two senior citizens that wanted to do a short 2 day trip to Dharamshala. While a lot of travellers advised McLeog Ganj, I would recommend a stay in Dharamshala which is a lower level. Why? Simply because the terrain is better and some hotels are really Hotels. Those in McLeod Ganj happen...

Very convieniently located yet away from the main bazar road, thus making it very easy to walk out and reach any convieniences you may need. Romm is good and adequately furnished and the services is good too. Restaurent attached makes it good for having your food especially if you come in feeling tired after a your excursion to various sightseeing trips, locally.

It is in lower Dharmasala. So many rooms. However, rooms in the new block be preferred. People prefer to stay in upper Dharmasala. But, this place has some advantages like centrally located , good food , closed to market area , both Dhauladhar range and Kangra valley can be seen. Tourists may opt for this hotel at Dharmasala.
