The farm has lots of animals which was fun and it is located near city center where you can do your shopping. We stayed in the Tulip cottage, which was simple, but clean and well equipped for self-catering. The owners came to check every day if everything was alright and if we needed something.

I also viewed on the internet an establishment @ Magaliesberg, I went for the above as the photo's looked cool and it was close to the town, I went in peak winter, the blankets were old and thin, the electric blanket did not work, the bathroom was so fility the rooms were extremely cold, I most definetly will not recommend...

I went online to find accommodation in the Magaliesberg and based on what I saw chose Kwa Manzi. It was slightly cheaper than others, and more expensive than some. Unfortunately I did not read TripAdvisor before making the booking. It would have avoided a waste of time travelling to the Lodge and then having to look for another. It was...

The pictures on the website do not reflect the true size and condition of the accomodation at Kwa Manzi. However, for the cheap rates I paid, I tried not to go with high expectations yet I was still disappointed. I advise all future people who consider this as a holiday choice to rather spend a little more and try another...

The owners make you sign a form where you are forced to agree that they wouldn't refund you under any circumstances before allowing a booking. That should've been our first warning. The unit(Jasmine) was not clean at all. There was no bathroom door in a more or less open-plan cottage.Let me repeat that, THERE WAS NO BATHROOM DOOR IN A...

We were extremely disappointed with the facilities at Kwa Manzi - to the extent that we left early on Saturday morning and could not stand another minute in the unit. We did not expect a luxury unit, however, we did expect a CLEAN unit. The moment we walked it, we got a musty smell - as if the unit stood...

A group of friends and I recently spent 2 nights here. We stayed at Aloe cottage, which is the largest and the one with most privacy. The patio area is covered (unlike other cottages) so we ended up eating outside most of the time. The farm is more suited for a weekend away with friends rather than a romantic getaway....

Although my overall experience was a negative one, I will try and be as even-handed as possible in this review. Kwa Manzi is one of the cheaper accommodation options in Magaliesburg and thus you should be aware that you are getting what you pay for. I rented the Rose cottage – a 2 sleeper self catering unit with shower. I’m...

It was a family gathering with English family. The units were falling apart, cuboard doors falling off. The step up into the one unit was a pile of bricks covered with a rubber mat. There are no walks or ways to see the countyside. They have a booklet telling you that if you take one of the horrid pictures on...
