We got engaged at this venue, stayed in the honeymoon suite... absolutely beautiful... only downfall was the noise... very close to the road so the trucks ruined our sleeping at night. The forest spa was beautiful and the staff great!!

Beautiful rustic spot with a French flare & ambiance. Nestled along the river with soothing sounds of nature, interesting walks, lovely spots to lay in a hammock and rest. The staff were friendly, helpful & very keen to assist us in getting settled and start relaxing. The chalets are all unique with various sleeping configurations but each one has a...

We stayed in one of the French suites for a weekend getaway recently and enjoyed it tremendously! The owners obviously put in alot of thought in making this as close to a french village experience as possible, no attention to detail is spared anywhere. Ive read through a few reviews here and honestly fail to comprehend how anyone can complain....there...

We visited La Provence in October 2015 for a short honeymoon getaway. It was an amazing romantic getaway for me and my husband. The accommodation was rustic yet romantic and comfortable and clean. The food was light and delicious and was served next to the river or at the quaint pub. The couples massage was divine and in a rustic...

We were looking for a weekend away and although worried about the mixed reviews decided to give it a try. Firstly I got lost (seeing the Out of Africa sign in Harties on my way to Rustenburg ealrier in the week, just assumed this was the one). The staff were waiting for us with a smile and patiently attended to...

We enquired about accommodation and mentioned that we were really concerned about the mixed reviews. We were eventually convinced by the owner that the reviews are exaggerated and not true and we should come and experience it for ourselves. The place has got huge potential but seriously lacks a lot of attention, love and care. In some places it really...

Attempted break-in at midnight on Friday, 20 November. We woke to screams and breaking glass from our neighbours at midnight. Robbers were trying to get into their room. We were absolutely terrified and actually barricaded ourselves in our room, while crawling around trying to get reception on our phones to call for help - there are no landlines or panic...

What an amazing experience! My wife and myself celebrated our 1 year anniversary at La Provence and everything was just perfect! Thank you Marguerite, Jeremia and Innocent! Your hospitality is second to none. Our room was amazing, food was exquisite and you feel an energy that is hard to describe without sounding weird! I felt a sense of Europe. The...

We stayed at the White Linen cottage for 2 nights.. Initially it looks lovely and quaint.. comfy bed and lovely loft with a balcony overlooking beautiful gardens and river. Sadly the bathroom ruined the experience for me as it was way below rustic and not very clean. Be sure to leave 30 minutes before quick showers / baths or the...
