We had a great time here, the hotel is beautiful with wonderful rooms and terrific ocean views. Breakfast was very good with an interesting variety of options - we had avocado on toast one day and mince and mushrooms the next. Staff were great, and like a lot of the small hotels we stayed at in South Africa they have...

We spent two nights at the Whale View in early January and loved it. The view, the sound of the waves, the service, the relaxed atmosphere - even the challenge of getting unparked and down that driveway - were absolutely delightful. Jim & Andrea, Toronto, Canada.

We spent the week of December 20-27, 2015 in Simons Town at the Whale View Manor. It was wonderful! We booked seven rooms for our family reunion of 14 adults, three sea facing and four mountain facing rooms. All the rooms were very comfortable, lots of space to unpack and enjoy the facilities for the full week. The staff were...

Whale View Manor has become our destination of choice for our summer holiday. The Manager, Dominique and her amazing team of staff make us feel so at home. The room is perfect with good linen on the bed and spotlessly clean. The view is amazing and the beach across the road is perfect. Breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented. The...

Last year we (two of us) stayed at Whale View for two nights and were sad to leave. This year we (two of us plus mother) stayed for three and vowed that, next time, we'd simply move in and stay With the exception of the sightly challenging parking (a steep driveway leading to a small car park that requires steady...

My husband surprised me with a little getaway to this lovely hotel for our 1st anniversary. Lovely view from the bedroom and such friendly staff. Great spot! With a beautiful little beach right across the road front the hotel. Great falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing!

We stayed three nights here on a birding tour and this was probably the classiest of the places we stayed in the 3 weeks. the views from the rooms are breathtaking, the presentation and the taste of food very impressive, and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
