The pizzas are the best value for money and they make a Banting version. Delicious, well done!! Food was very tasty. Very good value for money and very friendly service. Very pleasant establishment. Thank you.

My husband, myself and our baby just got home from our semi-holiday in Simons Town, where we stayed in the Lord Nelson Inn. The complete experience, from making an enquiry to leaving our room, was one we can highly recommend. Friendly staff, a cozy and neat room and great food! We will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I took a road trip to Simons Town and stayed over in this hotel. It was really great! The room is so cosy, warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly. It is very cold outside, and then when you enter the hotel a welcoming fireplace awaits you! Spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you *

This isn't the best hotel in town, but it does offer comfortable and spacious accommodation at a reasonable price. I arranged my booking by email a few days before I arrived here and it was very efficiently handled and we were shown to our room with a minimum of delay when we arrived and the porter helped with luggage with...

Visited as a group of 12 today on the Titan "Tracks of Africa" tour for Afternoon tea. A fabulous couple of hours. Elegant crockery except the tea plates didn't match the rest of the set! Plenty of tea although not given a "Tea Menu" to choose from like at the Ritz, London. My husbands coffee was spilt on the table...

The Lord Nelson is my favourite place to spend a couple of hours unwinding from the hustle and bustle. In winter there's a fire going in the original fireplace. Comfortable couches invite you to just relax with a drink or tea or coffee. Everyone is friendly and I feel so welcome. It's also great to watch sporting events in the...

We stayed over a weekend in a triple room. The staff were attentive to our needs. Great location if you want to explore Simonstown. The rooms are basic. The decoder system and channels need some attention.

We stopped in for lunch on our way back to the train. The service staff was attentive. The food was very good. We had the Hake and the ribs. The hake was moist and the ribs were not overly sweet or sauced. They had a limited but good selection of wines.
