I loved being there with myself ! Jena and Ron made me feel at home. Relaxing place, quiet, clean, secure. I was looking for a place to spend the weekend, read, watch the birds, the sky, the water. I was really lucky to get there without really knowing where I was going. Now I know I was meant to go...

We stayed for our first time at the Village this week and their outstanding service blew us away! They were very friendly and gave us their condolences. The cabins were very clean and homey. We were in town for a funeral and we had a few sentimental items that were accidentally overlooked. We called the Village the next morning asking...

We stayed here due to its proximity to the Womble Trail - our first Epic mountain bike experience. The owners Ronald and Janet were so helpful and we took advantage of being dropped off in two different places so my husband could ride the whole trail and I could do a shorter version. Ronald was able to offer loads of...

We stayed for two nights at this Lake Ouachita cabin. we stayed in unit 2a. the location is great, right by the water, surrounded by trees and very quiet, only the occasional noise of acorns falling on the roof. Lake level is low, bank fishing pretty much sucked. was not able to borrow the boat because of storm. The room...

My family and I intended on having a nice, quiet weekend! Our accommodations were excellent, and the place was nice even though it stormed and flooded some areas! My problem with this place was the LARGE FAMILY REUNION taking place this past weekend when we were there. I will never book this place again without asking first what other groups...

My husband and I along with a friend, son and daughter in law went here for the first time over the Memorial Day weekend. We all agreed that everything was perfect here. The cabin met our needs perfectly. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The lake view is beautiful. We would definatley bring a boat next time though. Fishing...

Highway 27 Fishing Village is a great getaway from the everyday rat race. It's a beautiful throwback to the peaceful family lakeside resorts I remember as a kid, which seem to be unfortunately disappearing in favor of the mind-numbing sameness of chain properties which seek to gouge every last penny from your pocket. This summer we paid our second visit...

We took our grandson to Lake Oachita. We wanted to dig for crystals, swim and just relax. Highway 27 Fishing Village was the perfect place. They have reasonably priced cabins on the lake. There is a great beach for swimming. The cabins are clean and comfortable. Each cabin has a covered porch and a ramp for wheelchairs or scooters. There...
