On my way to Petra I met another traveler staying at this place on the tourist bus. When we arrived, he moved us from the dorm to a room with two single beds for the same price, which was much appreciated. The room was very simple and the Wi-Fi did reach up to the second floor, albeit not very well....

The room was very basic and a quite shabby but very cheaply priced so this hotel was fine just to provide a roof over our heads after a day exploring Petra. It is around a twenty minute walk (downhill) to Petra visitor centre. Staff were friendly and very helpful when I left some of my belongings on the Jett bus...

This Hotel is a good place for people who want to enjoy Petra and who just need a comfortable bed to sleep. I came here for two days and got a lot of support from the staff, they really helped me a lot especially about checking out costs of transport (as tourists always pay more if they don't watch out:)...

I stayed in Petra Gate Hotel for 3 nights. As I made the reservation I was picked up from Dana where I stayed at the moment. For a fair price ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got tips and tricks for an interesting visit to Petra. I am a late sleeper but getting breakfast at 10.00 or...

We really enjoyed our stay at Petra Gate. The hotel is located close to Wadi Musa downtown area. This is great for dinner in the evening. Nasser is a great host and really helped us out with booking our next trip to Wadi Rum. The hotel itself is simple but clean and be sure to check out sunset over Petra...

I stayed in Petra Gate with my boyfriend and it was definetely the best choice! They were extremely friendly from the beginning, accommodating all of our needs. Great location 10-15 min walk from Petra historical site but in a great area to find affordable food (as closer to the site there is not that much). They let us hang around...

My girlfriend and I had been doing a low-cost trip through southern Jordan - Aqaba, Wadi Rum, Petra. Petra Gate Hotel seemed to offer the best deal, and it didn't disappoint. It's close to Wadi Musa's central roundabout (roughly a 10 minute walk to the Petra visitors' center), where you can find much more affordable restaurants than if you ventured...

The hostel is well located (5 mins drive (10-15 mins walk) to the actual Petra gate). Very close to money exchange, several supermarkets and restaurants. This made our stay very convenient! We didn't actually park there, Parked the rental car right in front theres space due to low tourist season (summer) but theres also a parking lot provided 2 mins...

I paid the same amount if not more for this room as my hotel in Amman, yes I know there is less competition here but the difference was shocking. Very basic with dirty bathroom, dodgy electrical fittings and a rather unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating but that was the only good thing.
