Really nice front desk staff. so helpful and nice welcome. The room is a big size in compare with the rest of hotels in Jordan. 2mins by car from Petra Visitors Center. The breakfast could be better quality but is still enough. We didn't try the spa even if it looks nice from the photos, but the price is 35Dinars,...

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and we had no problems with street noise. Breakfast/dinner was satisfactory. That being said, some things to be aware of (which are echoed in other reviews): The carpeting in the rooms is rather stained, but appeared to have been vacuumed recently....

Stayed at the Seven Wonders Hotels for three nights with wife and two young children. We experienced a very friendly atmosphere and perfect service. The roof top pool is not only very scenic, but it also offers an excellent way to cool down after having walked the hot sands and cliffs of Petra.

We arrived by hire car. There is only on-street parking. This is free however and spaces are always available, so not an issue. Payment is made in advance at check in. Check in was smooth and staff welcoming. We made our own way to the room with the suitcases. The room was spacious and the corridors and rooms carpeted, which...

Yes, a nice enough hotel. Rooms are OK slightly cramped. WARNING some are close to the hot water booster pump (?) which erratically and VERY loudly switches on during the night and you will get no sleep at all. Food is dismal and would be poor anywhere, best avoided. Staff are not very enthusiastic. Is a small supermarket close by...

Based on the positive reviews we stayed three nights here. I wish we hadn't. The hotel is on the busy King's highway and our room faced this street. It wasn't possible to get a quieter room as the hotel was completely full. In between the honking, the trucks, the mosque calling for prayer, we slept poorly. The breakfast buffet is...

I loved this hotel, I found the staff to be helpful, the wifi good and it was amazing to have a pool on the terrace with a great view! Shower temperature was a bit temperamental. There was a supermarket nearby but we got taxis to Petra and into town as it didn't seem to be walkable.

The hotel is just a place to spend the night. We were lucky to get a room facing away from the main road, which is very busy and very noisy. The room has a wall to wall carpet which is not clean. There is a pool on the roof which is nice, but cold. THe roof terrace is nice, but...

One of the best hotels we booked in Jordan. Mikheld from the evening reception is very customer orientated and extremely nice, he made our stay extremely nice ans made us feel at home. He was very receptive and conciliant with our requests. Their restaurant is as well excellent, we ate there the 3 days of our stay and we have...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Seven Wonders Hotel / Petra situated with dramatic views over the town and valley of Wadi Moussa, which houses the ancient city of Petra, now one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. We are a newly built 4* hotel with super-added facilities of a rooftop swimming pool and terrace, and what we believe is the best fitted Turkish Baths suite in Jordan. The hotel is well situated at the upper end of the scenic Wadi Moussa valley and town. It is a short walk from the town center and souk. Although the area generally is hilly, some of the roads being quite steep, the walk from the hotel to the upper part of the town is almost flat and can be undertaken by most reasonably fit people. We are easy to locate, a short drive in on the main access roads from Shawbak and Ma'an, on the right hand side, near to the Police Station. The principle part of the town, and the Petra ancient ruin, is on the same road below us continuing through the valley. Our aim at the hotel is to provide you with a happy experience of Arabia within a comfortable family orientated setting. To this end, we regret we cannot accommodate pets, nor do we serve alcohol inside the hotel, although it is available elsewhere in the town. The building which was completed in 2012 is of a tower design with lift and stairs The lift means it is suitable for elderly and slightly less able bodied guests. We regret bathroom facilities are not adapted for wheelchairs, nor for walking appliances, due to lack of floor space. ... more   less
