Indeed not a 5 star place, but well organized, clean, friendly, good rooms. Next to it they have a good restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices. Conveniently placed in an area where you find also other good places to eat.
Definitely worth it

I booked the hotel and then the hotel emailed me. Then I emailed back asking to be picked up from the airport and there was this driver waiting for me. I personally took a taxi (5dinars one way which is expensive for a 2km) from the hotel to Petra entrance and walked myself everywhere. I watched a PBS documentary about Petra and another from National Geographic and I was good to go. Have fun!!
