We are from Canada and wanted a more genuine experience than a hotel while visiting Jordan. The Rock Camp was an incredible solution! The town outside of Petra gates was busy and touristy The Rock was remote and beautiful with excellent customer service! We stayed for 2 nights in the luxury tents which had very comfortable beds and great pillows,...

We spent one very enjoyable evening following our exploration of Petra and en route to Wadi Rum. Our tent #30 was comfortable and included a proper bed with clean linens. We appreciated its relative privacy and particularly enjoyed lying on a mat outside the tent to view the star-filled night sky --worth the trip in itself. Definitely select the "luxury"...

Me and my partner stayed at the Rock Camp for one night in September 2012, we didn't know what to expect before we arrived and were a little nervous but once we arrived after a hard tiring day in Petra we were greeted and looked after extremely well. We enjoyed a fantastic traditional meal (with more food than needed), coffee,...

The tents were very clean and roomy. The staff was very, very friendly and hospitable. Hot showers are available in the morning and at night - basically, whenever the generator is running. We got to the camp in the late afternoon, so the staff took us on a hike through a wadi (canyon) that is right behind the camp. They...

Only passed by shortly to visit Sic Ba'ja, but was not really prepared to go all the way up; you'll need a guide, ropes and ladders. On my way out of the sic I stopped by at The Rock Camp to be welcomed by it's very friendly staff, who offered me a nice cup of tea. Traditional Bedoein hospitality, sitting...

As per title. Very nice, very friendly, but difficult to sleep with dogs barking all through the night. Take the deluxe tents, much nicer. Enjoy the desert, and if you like the stars you will be very happy as there is no light pollution at all to spoil the view.

The Rock Camp was unlike any other. My friend and I stayed here two nights (before and after a day at Petra), and we found it much better than a hotel. The camp setting is extremely peaceful and the service was excellent. The guys running the camp don't speak the best English in the world, but they make up for...

The place is amazing, and the service super good, all the people are very polite and the food was excellent, the only thing was the wild dogs in the mountains that barked all night long and the eco didnt let us sleep, except for this everything was perfect i recommend it and its very close to Petra like 15 min.

Staying at The Rock Camp at Little Petra was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Jordan. The camp is situated about 14km from Petra in stunning rocky landscape and is immaculately clean with great bathroom facilities. The bedouin staff, Ibrahim, Mahmod, Ismail and Ahmed are so friendly and helpful and made our stay very special. Ask them...
