We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour of Jordan. As the hotel is literally at the entrance to Petra, it couldn't be better placed for us. Our group set out into Petra first thing after breakfast, and we were the last ones back at 4:30pm, having spent a wonderful day, ending in the Cave Bar for...

petra guesthouse is the closest u can stay to the petra entrance. it is located adjacent to the petra entrance gate. given the amount of walking you do in petra, staying close definitely helps! rooms are good and comfortable. breakfast is decent (although nothing spectacular). the hotel also houses the famous cave bar - a good place to relax in...

We had a nice stay here. The hotel is nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. We had one of the rooms on the hillside. The room was huge - the little entryway was super nice to leave our dirty shoes and not muck up the room. The large closet was handy. Good air con. Staff at the front desk...

The location is the top notch the best of all! The view of Petra valley and mountain at night magnificent. Cave Bar is just amazing experience, felt like Nabatean days. I won't forget the memorable experience from the Guest House Petra Hotel. However, the staffs can be ignorant, I was carrying few luggages in front of them and they don't...

Staff are very welcoming, the bed was comfortable and the restaurant has a great variety of food. The main attraction though is The Cave Bar at the entrance to the hotel. There is so much atmosphere as the bar is carved out of the hill. It is a great place to sit in the courtyard after a hot day visiting...

We stayed 2 nights, great room, comfortable and all amenities. Ate in restaurant and had room service - both great; staff couldn't have been more helpful of accommodating. As you leave Petra after a hard days sightseeing the Cave Bar Terrace is a perfect place for a cold beer and to review the days wonders.

The Petra archaeological site is one of the best things I've ever visited. And this hotel is right at the entrance. We arrived in the evening and got some food at the Cave Bar which itself is made from a repurposed tomb. In the morning we enjoyed an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast before heading out. Rooms and beds were totally at...

As most other reviewers have said, the location of the Guest House is right next to the entrance to Petra, so can't be beat, particularly as the main street where other hotels etc. are situated is long and steep. We were two couples and stayed for two nights in the main building. We had help with our luggage from the...

This was my favourite hotel in Jordan out of the four I stayed in. The name is lisleading - it is a hotel and not a guesthouse as we know them in the UK. The hotel was clean. The staff were very helpful, welcoming and efficient. This hotel had a friendly and warm atmosphere, unlike some of the others I...
