We stayed one night at the place, the food was delicious home made jordanian food. The place has a wonderful view over the town and the hills towards petra, there is also a big terrace on the 4 floor. However the terrace is abandoned without seats nor services. The house might had better days but is still in decent condition....

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our check in was efficient. The girl at the reception was very friendly and professional. The rooms facing the valley was nice. We had half board. The restaurant was cozy. Chef Mohamed and his assistant Maha were very friendly, helpful and offered good food. Hotel was not far away from the main entrance of...

We arrived at the hotel and I can honestly say it's the first time I've not felt welcome at a hotel so it was not a great start to our holiday. I can't say that any member of front of house smiled or was pleasant. BUT we booked this hotel because of its proximity to Petra so we tried to...

Pros: 1) location very close to Petra national park entrance. 2) ok price for rooms 3) staff nice 4) terrace nice Cons: 1) rooms v. small 2) you have to ask for towels and remote control for AC/Heater and clothes hangers (absolutely none in wardrobe). 3) electrics in room questionable. 4) breakfast below average and disappears quickly (before 9 am)....

Candles Hotel was a reasonable budget modest hotel perched up a steep hill ok if you are being collected but not suitable if you need to walk as the hill is very steep. Situated close to the Petra entry gates. Clean rooms and breakfast standard for area. Would stay again with family

The hotel was booked by our tour company "Fun Time Tours", trying to add to their bottom line... Room was terrible, dark and dated. Tub disgusting with rust. Was ready to go anywhere else and they provided us with a more acceptable room. Shouldn't have had to complain to get a decent room. Breakfast was spartan, not with writing about....

We were there with a tour, so we didn't choose this hotel—it was chosen for us by the tour operator. In our room, the toilet did not flush, but at least we had some water pressure and hot water. Every person from our tour that we talked to had some sort of issue in their room. The issues varied from...

Stayed just 1 night thankfully. Regardless of where in world this is, the hotel is not 3 stars, maybe 1. The carpets one did not feel like walking barefoot upon. The mattress had the springs coming through. The bathroom was so awful I don't even want to recall it. Breakfast not much better. Location was good, short walk to everything.
