We only stayed one night as we were unable to hike anywhere due to knee injury. This quaint place is for the able bodied only! The village had a full blackout for nine hours while we were there and we ate the good simple food by candlelight. If you are a builder/plumber/electrician, don't die laughing but stay a few weeks...

Unfortunately, we only had time to spend one night at this great place. It is located at the far end of the village and consists of many connected buildings on different levels. There are several terrasses and rooms where you can hang out, relax or smoke a nargila if you want. You have great views of the wadi from the...

Its a superior backpacker hotel but fully worthy of a 2*+ hotel. Rooms are clean and fully furnished and from full ensuite to shared bathroom across the corridoor. Best nights sleep in all of Jordan, which was very welcome. Great views across to the Dead Sea and Israel from multiple viewpoints within the hotel including great sunset spot. Hanging out...

This place has character - can do walks or hang out - it was quite chilly at night but there were plenty of blankets. Dinner was excellent with many different dishes. It was very sociable at night sitting around talking to other travellers. Helpful friendly staff.

This is actually an old Bedouin village that has been turned in to a hotel. There are actually a total of three of these hotels in the village. The rooms have a lot of charm and the views are amazing. The owner was great and you could tell he loves what he does. It can get chilly at night so...

The people here were super nice, the rooms were clean and had hot water showers, and dinner was really good. If you're looking for an authentic visit near the reserve and one in which you can support locals, this is the place to stay. The staff could not have been nicer and the design of the place is really nice....

We slept in this hotel one night during out trip across Jordan and we decided to come back and spend the last two days, before going back home. Why? Because I fell in love with this place. Peace, relax and nature. Warm staff that makes you feel like if you are at home, great food (dinner and breakfast were buffet)....
