After reading other reviews about this hotel I had expected more. The rooms are nicely decorated but bear in mind that all rooms are not the beautiful ones pictured on the hotels website. And do not expect a room with a view - our view from the room (nr 206) was a wall filled with solar panels. The breakfast was...

I was visiting the city as part of a cultural heritage project, the hotel is a great example of how the old houses were renovated into a very useful building. The rooms were large, clean and nicely furnished, clean bathrooms, and great food.

We spent just one night at this hotel, I wish we had more time to stay there a little longer. Huge rooms, comfortable beds, hot water around the clock, beautiful views... and a nice, family-like atmosphere. Superb breakfast, which reminded me of my childhood years with grandma in the country.... quite romantic.

Well we stayed in Gjirokaster for three nights and really enjoyed 2 out of our 3 nights of our stay here. Let me summarize the good things and bad things. First the good things: - We stayed in 2 different rooms, the second room we got was room 3, or the pasha room like the owner calls it. If you...

This 200 year old Ottoman Tower House converted to a 12 room hotel was superb in every way. Our room number 3 at the front of the Hotel had sweeping views of the city and Drino Valley. The room had original wooden ceiling and carvings and it was as though we had stepped back 200 years. The bed was very...

If you like Ismail Kadare's novels, this hotel might be your favorite. Traditional building, nicely decorated rooms, a terrace overlooking the town plus a finger licking breakfast that you shall miss desperately.

We stayed here 2 nights with our 1 year old child. There were many options for different sized rooms - ours was a little small for the 3 of us, but to be expected for the reasonable price and it appeared to have bigger rooms if you paid a bit more. Location is great - 5 minute downhill walk to...

For me, this hotel was utterly perfect. In a sensitively restored building retaining all the origional features it could. The views were stunning, the breakfast was a delight and the staff kind and very helpful. It is hard to find initially, as it is up a warren of old streets.

Fantastic family run small hotel. Structure dates back to 1500's, but hotel is modern. Small city in the mountains of Southern Albania. Tremendous views, sumptuous free breakfast...have it on the second floor patio overlooking the old city. Drago, the owner and staff..are gems. So worth going there. The town is old world charming..

The traditional Ottoman home turned hotel is stunning. The hotel is perched up a short 10min stroll down the cobble stone streets to the old bazaar, a bit of a walk back up after a big dinner but the scenery makes it worthwhile. These reviews are hard as it always depends on what someone is expecting from a hotel, but...
