Genuinely one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed in. Small, with great facilities, and very clean. On arrival the owner greeted us with a glass of their own wine from the nearby vineyard (delicious full white wine). It was cheap, quiet, clean and in a beautiful location. Will be coming back. Thanks!

We loved staying at Kamp Vrhpolje! We were welcomed very pleasantly by the lady of the house. She offered us a nice glass of selfmade wine. We really recommend you to call beforehand and stay in the vineyard. It is a spot with a nice view on the land and you are able to watch the stars at night. But even the camping itself, is very peaceful and quiet to stay at. The toilets and bathroom are super clean, the cleanest we have ever been to! And if you like, you can always by some of her wine for only €5 per bottle.
Cheers!

We stayed at Kamp Vhrpolje for 3 nights in total. We were planning to stay for only two but we extended our stay because we had such a lovely time there. It's a very cute and intimate campsite with all the facilities you need. The hostess is incredibly kind and helpful and we could go to her for questions about activities in the valley or tips on where to go wine tasting at any moment of the day.

When we arrived we were welcomed with two glasses of her self-made wine and it was so delicious we decided to buy bottles to take home. There's an option to rent bikes to go on an adventurous wine-tasting and she has lots of advice for sightseeing. We were sad to leave and loved our time in Vrhpolje!

Staff is very kind and helpful. You will be welcomed with a glass of wine made by the camping owners themselves. Campsite is located in the families backyard. You can choose your own spot, however as they don’t seem to limit their reservations, people are close together in the summer season. That’s a pity. The campsite is also located next to a church ringing it’s bells every 15 minutes. Starting at 7 with a full minute concert, so be prepared. However, you do have a nice view of the mountains from the campsite. There are also many possibilities for wine tasting and hiking in the area.

We came here for 4 nights and we loved it very much. First of all the staff was very kind! They welcomed us with tea and palinka in the late evening, they gave us farewell gifts and one night they prepared two wine glasses with around 0,5 liter white wine.
Since we came by bike, we were hoping for great weather. However on our first day coming from Ljubljana, a storm hit us with heavy rain 20 kms from the place. Fortunately the hostess' husband came for us and brought us back safely. Also he brought us to Ljubljana the last day, because that day there was heavy rain and thunder as well. And they didn't want anything in return! So I think they are very generous and kind. :)
Besides the apartmant was great, we had a terrace as well with a lovely view and the surrounding area is full of sights to see especially if you like hiking and riding a bike.
The only disadvantage is that next to it there is a church and the bell rings early morning from 6am, so if you have trouble sleeping, you should keep that in mind. But otherwise it was excellent and the staff was very lovely and kind! I can only recommend them.

Lovely quaint, small campsite in this beautiful village right next to a church. Very reasonably priced with excellent clean facilities and a lovely space to relax both inside and outside. Very handy well priced restaurant just opposite too!

We spent just the one night here passing through when cycle touring in Slovenia. It was quiet, had very clean facilities, a great host and it was in a great location. We could definitely have stayed for longer. Would recommend to anyone in the Vipava valley!

This is a lovely site with welcoming, friendly and helpful owners. The site is located in quaint village perfectly located for the city of Ajdovščina and beautiful courtryside walks/cycling. This is my 2nd time visiting the campsite. The owners are very helpful with pointing me in the right direction for things to do in the area and have even greeted me (both times) with a glass of wine (very thoughtful). As an added bonus, the campsite was also a great price!

I was looking for a place to stay with my boyfriend for one night but everything else was fully booked. We found this place online and it was our last choice. The best choice! They were nice enough to accept us although it was 10pm. They even gave us a glass of their delicious red wine.

The camp is one of the most adorable places I've visited. It is small and green with very friendly hosts, free wifi and clean bathrooms. The only thing I would change is the proximity of a church - It can get pretty loud very early in the morning on Sunday.

PS-Great place if you want to explore the area by bike.

We are currently traveling Europe in a campervan for a year and this is our favourite campsite so far - and we have been to a lot! The area itself is stunning with mountains and vineyards galore. The owners of the campsite are lovely and greeted us with a glass of wine each on arrival. The daughter speaks perfect English and talked to us for about 20 mins on where we could go, which vineyards to visit etc. the campsite itself is small but perfectly formed. The toilets and showers are the cleanest we have seen on our entire trip. You must come and visit this place - it is well worth the trip!
