On the net is advertised as Rancho Hotel, so it can be misleading. Booked 3 weeks in advance. We had to pay in full at time of booking which is never a good sign. The place is nothing to write home about, rather run down ( it belongs to Balderama Corp., known for their poor and corner cutting practices). Room...

This hotel can be seen from the train station and is right on the cliff edge. All rooms open onto a fantastic view. The info. is very confusing, talks about "terrace city view" or "balcony" with different prices. There is no city to view, the important thing is they all open onto an outdoor area right on the canyon edge....

The view was fantastic. Sat on patio and looked out over canyons. The rooms are spacious. The mattresss are hard, but I still found comfortable. The only thing I would try to do is get a room on the second floor. You can hear the people above you walking all the time if your room is on the first floor....

Going to Barrancas your left with no option but to stay in the two hotels. This is the cheaper out of the two , but still outrageous and will make your stay stressful. They only serve breakfast, lunch and Dinner at set times 7.30am-9am / 1.30pm-2.30pm / 7.30pm-9pm and you get what they give you! I'm dairy free so most evenings...

Great location! Our rooms overlooked the canyon and we sat on the balcony and watched the sunset over the canyon and got up early to enjoy the sunrise. The Hotel Manager was awesome.....he took the time to greet each and every one in our group of 12 and made our stay very enjoyable. Beautiful setting in the bar and restaurant...

The location of this hotel is great, right in front of the train station. The views are breathtaking! Totally worth the trip. Rooms are very basic but sufficiently large and comfortable, although they can get noisy at night (wood flooring and roofs + noisy heaters) Food at the restaurant is basic but ok, nothing fancy. Try to do the adventure...

Following the train ride on El Chepe from La Paz it was great to stop and take in the view, we were lucky to be able to stay for a night at this very moderate hotel. Yes it wasn't 5 star but we didn't need that as we were out doing things. The adventure park!!! A must, not for the...

You cannot fault the location for its dramatic views and easy public transport access by rail and bus. The train stop is short walk across the road and the bus stops next to the hotel. Some reasonable walking areas and wildlife close to the hotel. Great view from my room balcony area. The hotel is rather expensive but to be...

If it wasn't for the view I would give this hotel a 1 star, the view is the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Here are a list of things that are wrong with it: * You can hear every single footstep from the room above you. * The hot water only lasted 3 minutes (on both days we stayed...

You can expect beautiful views and adequate rooms. If you are English speaking it will be challenging to communicate any of your needs. Food is edible and usually cold as it is a buffet style restaurant. They are accommodating if you can communicate your request. Rooms could use some maintenance. When we requested that damaged chairs be replaced so we...
