We stayed here for 6 nights during a recent trip to Krabi. The standard of accommodation is very good, with a choice of self-catering type chalets, non self-catering chalets which have outdoor bathtubs on their balconies, and a few larger accommodations for families or groups. We opted for one of the self catering type chalets, as we both still work on-line, and the downstairs kitchen area provided an excellent environment for both of us to work. The upstairs of our accommodation consisted of a larger bedroom area, which had a mini-bar/fridge, large television, good wardrobe and drawer space, and safety deposit box, and a well equipped toilet/shower room. We do have a couple of negative points in relation to our accommodation…. The bedroom area could be doing with some soft lighting.. whether it be bedside lamps, or dimmable lights.. reason being, the only lighting options were all ceiling downlights, or no lighting… Somewhere in between would have been nice.. Our second issue with the accommodation was the level of cleanliness.: Overall, the housekeeping did a fantastic job, however, our opinion was that they seemed to lack ‘attention to detail’ as there was quite a lot of dust on the bed base (below the mattress at the pillow area..). I wouldn’t let the above points put anyone off staying at this accommodation, as we had the most enjoyable stay. The pool area was excellent, with plenty of sunbeds available.. Last but not least was the breakfast which was included in our very reasonable room rate.. The breakfast menu was ‘a la carte’… so if you’re looking for an ‘all you can eat buffet breakfast’… it’s not for you… We tried a variety of the available options from the menu, and every one was cooked and presented to what I can only describe as ‘perfection’.. A massive thank you to team ‘Loy Chalet’ and we will definitely return when we revisit Krabi 🙏

We booked one night at Loy last minute for £40 bed and breakfast. The resort is easy to find up a long drive (we were on a moped but you’ll need transport to get around which the reception team can organise for you). Everything is brand new and stunning, from the lush tropical planting to the chalets and pool. It was clean and beautiful everywhere.
We had a deluxe bungalow which is set over two 25m floors and was great for a short stay but I think would feel a little small for long periods. Although you have a separate floor downstairs (which you have to walk outside to access) which has a full kitchen/diner, I’m not sure how much use it would get and there is no aircon but cannot fault the details and quality at all. The bed was the comfiest we have slept in and the only thing missing from our room was a lamp or reading light. The toiletries were good and the mini bar was huge and well priced. There is a lovely large veranda upstairs and downstairs with comfy table and chairs at both levels.
The pool area is again beautiful with a good size salt water pool. As with many pools in Thailand, the water gets very warm as it’s in full sun.
Breakfast is cooked to order at the bar/restaurant and has a good range of options for free. We also found the bar prices very reasonable and all the staff very friendly.
Overall the Loy Chalet resort is a paradise escape and If we stayed again for longer we would upgrade to the single floor rooms with more space.

A dream place: the photos of the structure speak for themselves. Room that is practically a home with all the desirable comforts. Very quiet environment and friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast included of excellent quality and abundant and balanced dishes.
If you need to rest your mind and body, this is the right place.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Room is very big, and clean aswell. Also with a nice pool, and nice bath if you choose a chalet with one.
Positive; - very friendly staff - room is bigg - nice bath in front of your chalet - everything is very clean - very relaxing place because its very quiet around there. - good airconditioning.
Negative; - its far away from the centre with restaurants, about 20 minutes drive. (Really cant walk here) -If you ask to the reception to get you a cab, they charge you a big price. Its about 15/20 minutes drive to the place to be.. and they will ask you 500 bath. But because the hotel is not nearby the place where you want to go there not a lot of cabs there. - staff working here are friendly but only two people at reception can speak English.

Lovely chalet, friendly and helpful staff, who speak good English. Great breakfast, with vegetarian option. Bar and restaurant is reasonably-priced. Pool is fantastic. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. Minutes walk from small shops, stalls and restaurants- mainly Thai and Indian. Beautiful area, lush and tropical and quiet. 15 minutes Moto ride to Ao Nang, cheap bike hire on the doorstep- 50 pounds sterling per week. If you've come to dive, highly recommend The Dive Au Nang. Fantastic local knowledge, safe, all equipment well maintained and good English spoken., door to door pick up. Have a great holiday!

Stunning place which we could have quite happily stayed at for a couple of weeks! There are some nice restaurants in walking distance but it's only 10 minutes or so to get into Krabi by car. You get your own chalet with a bedroom upstairs and kitchen downstairs so if you wanted to you'd be able to cook for yourself. The breakfasts were delicious and cocktails were pretty great too. We also enjoyed the pool area, which wasn't too busy. Reception was also helpful when we wanted to hire a car and booked one for us with really late notice. Highly recommend.
