We chose this place as it had great reviews and seems nice and quiet. It did not disappoint! The hosts, Peter & Lec did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Lec is a fantastic cook and made us many interesting and delicious meals. They organised our scooter hire, boat trip, lent us beach towels.... When my husband lost his glasses, Peter lent him his. Everytime we came back to the villa pool from a hot day out , they had a galss of cold water with lime for us. They organised in house massage therapy.. Peter made us drinks in his lovely open scenic bar....
The views are lovely. The breakfast is a feast. Pool is great. Location is handy between Ao Nang and the quieter Klong Muang Beach that we often went to.
We felt very well looked after. Very safe. Never locked the door! Would not hesitate to recommend these 5 villas to those who like a quite, bespoke experience.

After travelling from Bangkok we wanted something peaceful, quiet and relaxing and this is just the place. The owners Peter and Lec arranged transport to pick us up from the airport which was air conditioned, safe and on time. On arrival there was fresh juice and a freezing cold flannel which was just amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we stayed in the grand Villa which is a few steps up but you get used to them it’s not an issue of your fit n healthy 👍 and wow the grand Villa has amazing views it a mini grand palace inside, we didn’t need ear plugs it was quiet and the beds where so comfy we slept 10 hours every night ! There is also a tv we watched Netflix in bed and the Wi-Fi works well. The owners arranged trips to the elephant sanctuary and Hong islands and down to the beach and to local restaurants. It’s 10 mins from ao nang and easy to get a cab or scooter. Lec is just the best cook, we ordered the massaman curry which was delicious, breakfast was fit for a queen and so fresh every day, we were treated like family there. The pool is 3m deep a great diving board /slide and so clean. You won’t regret staying here ! Thank you 🙏

This place is amazing, we stayed in the Small Villa which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with a very comfortable bed and quiet Aircon. Wonderful views from everywhere on the property. Fabulous gardens and swimming pool, wonderful breakfasts and the owners Pete and Lec are so kind and thoughtful. They organised our scooter hire, a brand new bike, boat trips and Lec is a wonderful cook. A quiet oasis close to beautiful unspoilt beaches and forest treks. Highly recommend staying here.

We read the reviews and on these high recommendations made the right call to stay here. Absolutely charming hosts Lec and Peter go beyond to welcome their guests to these villas so beautifully furnished and sparkling clean. The breakfasts are wonderful as is all the cooking. A quiet oasis made for peaceful relaxing close to a couple of tranquil beaches. We loved it!

We usually stay in 4/5 star hotels. In Krabi, we decided to try something different. I couldn't find many reviews but decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did!!
We were warmly greated by Peter and Lek. The resort is on a hillside so it may be a little challenging for some, but they do have villas below the reception area which is where we stayed. We parked our rental car right out front of our villa which was convenient. The "Small Villa" was very spotless with thai inspired decor, and had a very comfortable bed. The bed was memory foam (didn't sleep hot) and was on an adjustable bed frame.
Before we left Peter had shown me the rest of the Villas. Each one was more gorgeous than the last, if you don't mind a few stairs the views were spectacular from each room/villa I went in. The set up of each villa is very private no matter which one you choose.
We had eaten at many restaurants in Thailand and thought we had already had the best of the best......We were WRONG!!! After a long day of exploring we decided to come back to the resort to eat. BEST DECISION EVER! Lek is a fantastic cook and we had the BEST food we had in Thailand! We ate there every night.....YUM!!!!!! Also, she does make specialty dishes which require at least one days advance notice, and they are well worth trying. My mouth is still watering from the Massaman Curry I had.
Thank you Peter/Lek, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We couldn't have been happier and would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Dear Lek and staff........thank you very much for your the wonderful days in your private resort........it is situated near some nice not too crowded beaches. With a motorbike you can easily reach them. If you need places with many tourists or shops, they can be reached by motorbike too. We liked it to come back every evening in the small private resort with wonderful bungalows and a nice small swimmingpool. You will not need restaurants at night. Please try the excellent art of cookning of Lek (the owner-lady-wife). You will not regret....we enjoyed her cuisine every night.....it was planned to try some other restaurants, but we did not. We enjoyed this place with plants and flowers everywhere, the clean bungalow, with thai-details decorated with a good taste and eye for detail and a friendly staff, trying to fullfill your wishes. When comming back to this area....then to this place. Regards------Karin and Hans from Austria.

If you want luxury accommodation, amazing personal service, fabulous views of the sea , mountains and forest , gorgeous food this is the place for you . Owners can not do enough for you including give you lifts to the nearby beach if Khlong Muang which is uncrowded , and a delight . We originally booked for 7 days but extended our stay a further 10 days .

I stayed for 3 nights believing that the Google rating was high and 2500THB.
The room was not used for a long time, so it was poorly equipped and had a bad smell.
In particular, the bed and pillows smelled of mold.
There were too many cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes and lizards.
The TV was broken, and the water pressure was weak, making it difficult to shower.
You have to bring your own bottled water, and when you ask to clean your room, you just sweep it with a broom. I cleaned again.
The way to the accommodation is difficult to go out because you have to go up a hill for a long time, and the room is on the hillside, so if you have luggage, you have to sweat a lot and it is scary at night.
There are a lot of motorcycles and large trucks, so the noise often wakes me up.
The sea is 3km away, so you can see a little bit, and it's hard to get there without a car.
I couldn't sleep well, so I asked for a partial refund, but was denied.
We feel like we've been sentenced to four days in prison.

We stayed here over Christmas and NewYear and absolutely loved it every bit of it. Peter & Lec were truly amazing - they created a very warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It was home away from home. I can't wait to return! Thank you for an awesome stay.

We booked out 4 villas for a family Christmas, all 10 of us fell in love with the people and place. Pete, Lec and all staff made our stay magical, with generous hospitality, outstanding food, spotless villas and ample space in and around the resort to swim, chill, relax and socialize. Pete and Lec go the extra mile to make your stay special If you fancy hiring a long tail boat to the islands and a bit of snorkelling Lec will arrange this for you. This is pretty special as it’s a private hire just for your group where you will discover hidden island and outstanding beauty with no time restrictions. Well worth doing.
Turning left out of the resort with a 15 min drive is Ao Nang, here you will find many shops, restaurants and bars opened till very late! You can easily get a tuk tuk back to the resort any time. Also at Ao Nang you can book many boat trips to islands like Railay and phi phi however you will share your boat with others and have time restrictions on your stay at the islands.
Turning right out of the resort with a 7 min drive is Klong Muang beach, here you will find many beautiful restaurants with great food and service, the ambiance is magical with lights hanging from trees music floating in the air and the sea lapping against the long tail boats. Here you will feel fully immersed in the Thailand experience.
We all had the holiday of a life time at Villa Phu Khao Private Resort Krabi Thank you Pete, Lec and staff for making it so very special, we will all be back  Anna, Cliff and family :-)
