Cleanest cabins in Australia. The housekeeping team here are amazing. We are frequent travelers both in Australia and abroad and have been blown away with the extremely high standards in this park. Even the communal cooking areas are spotless at all times, even when relatively full of campers. Don’t know what they are doing, but keep up the excellent work. Will recommend this park to all my friends and family.

Stayed at this park with 2 adults, a 12 year old, 3 year old and 9 month old for two nights to break up a bigger trip. We stayed in a 2 bed cabin opposite the pool and park and couldn’t rate it higher. The cabin was modern, fresh and had everything you needed, including clean little BBQ on the deck which we utilized both nights while watching the kids play on the playground. The entire park was also modern, well presented and felt as if everything was only a year or two old. It had a great range of options for all our kids to play on and kept them well and truly entertained. (Jumping pillow, climbing frame, flying fox, playgrounds and slides, soccer net, totem tennis, Jenga, basketball, games room and go karts.) It was too cold for the pool but others used the spa while we were there and it looked nice. The laundry and toilet facilities were also great and next time we stay we will bring our caravan, knowing that there is nice facilities, green grass and level concrete slabs for the van. Staff were lovely and accommodating and brought us over a high chair for the baby.

We were so fortunate to find this beautiful little park after having to cancel a Murray River stay due to floods! With a family of 8 adults and 4 children we were so lucky to find accommodation. The two 7-berth cabins were roomy, clean and so close to all the Park's great features including the pool, playground, jumping pillow and flying fox. The cabins had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and everything we needed for a fantastic family Christmas away! We even had our own barbecue and outdoor setting on the front verandah. Another bonus was the full size refrigerator!

We stayed at the BIG4Marong Holiday Park for two nights and were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of the park and surrounds.
We were warmly welcomed by the young lady in reception. She took time to explain the park and offered us a choice of two sites for our caravan.
We chose an excellent site, which was spacious and quiet.
The amenities, although not new, were spotless and appeared to be cleaned several times a day.
Grass was well cared for as were the garden beds.
The park is very secure with key pad entry and exit.
The cabins were modern and very attractive to the eye.
There were no old caravans and shoddy buildings being used by permanent residents, which always make a park look untidy.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the BIG4Marong as an excellent park in which to spend one night or several nights.

One of the best parks we've seen along our travels. Simple but well planned outlay of cabins and caravan ,tent sites.
Most sites allow vans to stay hooked up which is excellent. Very clean amenities which includes the pool, spa, ExGolf , games room and small conference room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Quick and easy checkin. The kids play area was tucked in one corner, with another play area near the pool. Well done to all the team, so comfy here we stayed a 4th night. Thank you for a fab park 👌

Met the nicest lady called Barb. She went out of her way to make our stay more enjoyable.
Our cabin already had air con on when we arrived on a hot day (Thanks Barb) and any question or request we had was eat with a genuine smile and willingness to assist.
This lady is an absolute asset to an already fantastic park!

We used the caravan park as a base for exploring Bendigo. I would say it is too far our of Bendigo for that purpose. We think it is very well suited as a stop over location if travelling to or from Mildura, it is right on the Calder Highway and is a very well equipped park with good amenities and large powered sites mostly well shaded. There is some traffic noise from the Calder Highway, so I would recommend a site at the back of the park as far from the highway as possible to minimise traffic noise.
Good facilities from children and the management were very friendly and helpful.
There is only a hotel in Marong so you have to travel about 10km for a general store / IGA and petrol.

Thanks for your feedback and recommendation Pierre, we 're glad you enjoyed your stay and our facilities. Marong is a relaxed but growing pocket on the outskirts of Bendigo but we think it still holds that country charm. We're about 12 minutes from the CBD and Bendigo's main attractions and we're close to Crusoe Reservoir for water activities, Sandhurst Ridge Winery for beautiful wine tastings and The Great Stupa for fascinating Buddhist culture. The Marong General Store is nearby and opens every day for last-minute supplies and tasty takeaways. Families love our new Pump Track for bikes and scooters, our jumping pillow and flying fox and our solar-heated swimming pool is a hit with guests of all ages. There's so much to see and do around Bendigo, we hope you'll come back and explore some more another time.

We needed dog friendly accomodation for ourselves and both our daughters families booked cabins as well. They were very clean and neat with all the essentials. Our cabin had a fenced verandah which was ideal for our spoodle. Lots of activities and the park was shady and well kept. The barbecues were spotless

Amazing people at the park. We arrived late and after hours without a booking after a very frustrating evening - we were answered with a smile and were welcomed to the park with no qualms at all. The park is so clean, the park camp fire already burning, beautiful level drive through site and even air conditioned amenities block. Just incredible (unexpected) service fairly rare these days. We will return for a longer stay sometime I'm sure
