After Cochin we travelled to our next destination the Marari beach hotel. The individual bungalow was well furbished and very comfortable, with outside bathroom. We also had our plunge pool which was fantastic. We were greeted and given a full review of what the hotel had to offer by the excellent staff. They arranged a car, driver and member of staff...

This hotel is in a superb location on a beach about an hour south of Cochin. The beach is totally unspoiled and there are no other hotels in the area. Wandering along the beach all there is to see is a fishing village. The hotel is eco-friendly, has wonderful facilities and gorgeous self-contained villas with open-air bathrooms. We stayed in...

We did a tour of India staying at 22 hotels, all 4 or 5 star. Marari beach was the best of the lot. A beautiful hotel with plenty of room, a nice walk past lily ponds to the huge swimming pool. At around 4.00 in the afternoon we walked through the coconut plantation which started by the pool and swung...

My wife and I visited Marari this February, having spent two weeks there last year. Nothing had changed - the genuine welcome - the attentiveness and kindness of the staff - the best managed hotel we have ever stayed in. The writer generally has a very low boredom threshold. This is the only place I have visited throughout the world...

We stayed at the Marari Beach Hotel at the end of a hectic tour of Kerala. The welcome was special, the bungalows are superb and the bathrooms are amazing. Food was delicious and the cocktails in the bar were great. Setting is superb, beautiful beach and gorgeous pool. Top quality evening entertainment. Very good environmental stance and peaceful atmosphere. Only...

We stayed for 6 nights at the end of our tour of Kerala. We have nothing but praise from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The staff are always happy and very helpful, nothing is too much. The food was very good, especially the Bar grill. If you want to relax in comfort then this is the...

We stayed here for about 10 days, which is long enough to see between the cracks, and actually there are very few. My wife uses a wheelchair and we were at the end of a 10 week trip that started in Northern India, hopped over to Sri Lanka and finished in Kerala, and so we have plenty of experience of...

“I booked in this hotel for 30-may-2013 for 1 night 1 room single cottage. After reaching hotel, I found that the photos shown in the site are manipulated and they do not have any cottage facing sea. The service was so poor I am forced to go to another hotel after traveling a long distance. The food served is poor and they do not have any items in the meals menu. The road to the resort is so poor and the resort is not clean. I wonder how they could charge this much for the stay. • Not a secure place to stay, no compound wall, anyone can enter into the resort from sea side. • High price • Poorly managed resort, not clean no maintenance • Food is very bad and no items available as they specified in the food menu • Don’t simply book by seeing photos you may regret.”
