Our family group of 14 ranged in age from 3 to 74 and everyone wants to go back. The property is immaculately kept and the meals were wonderful. The owner,Vadim made sure we wanted for nothing and was always available to us. Safety was never an issue. Because we rented the whole place we had our own personal keg of beer always chilled in the bar area, and the tables there were constantly in use for game playing and puzzles. Vadim thoughtfully had a Christmas tree waiting for us!
Like others, we found Playa Chiquita lovely but too rough for swimming, so opted for Playa Alicia which is close by and offers inexpensive lounges and umbrellas. Of course the pool was in constant use!
There is not a regular restaurant, but you can arrange to have meals prepared(which we did, and they were great! We had breakfast and dinner and there were plenty of leftovers for lunch) Coffee was good and plentiful.
I rated the rooms as very good instead of excellent because they are not luxurious. However, in a family setting such as ours these rooms would be preferred.
Vadim also personally took part of our group snorkeling being careful to choose the day/time of day/location to provide the best experience. From our first contact with him his attitude was "I will take care of everything" and he did, from rearranging transportation after flights from the USA were cancelled, to providing a quattro leche cake for a birthday. This is a quality establishment.

If you’re looking for excellent hospitality, Hotel Coral Blanco is it! It’s deeper in the neighborhood, about a 10-15 minute walk for food. But, there is a small beach within 5 minute walk that is absolutely divine to watch the sunset. There are waves, so have a healthy respect for the ocean! But it was a small paradise on its own and I didn’t feel the need to go to playa Alicia or Sosua. There is a restaurant in a hotel two doors down that has decent food, but just be prepared to wait a bit if there’s more than one of you or more than one table present. Michael, Braulio (the security), and the ladies make sure to take good care of you; I mentioned in passing that I didn’t sleep great because the pillows were too soft and the next day I had different pillows without me asking. The neighborhood is humble; don’t expect a luxurious all inclusive feel, it’s an authentic experience with amazing people. I felt safe the entire time as a solo female traveler. The breakfast is delicious and the pool is divine. Definitely stay here if you have the chance! Drive slow if you have a rental ;)

Look no further! The best place to stay in Dominican.
I had a great stay at Hotel Coral Blanco. This place is awesome.
First off, I was greeted by the owner who made me feel very welcome for my stay.
The grounds are impeccably clean and the room is spacious.
I felt very safe with the 24/7 security guard and they were very friendly.
The place is even better than the pictures!
While I travelled solo, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a bachelor party or wedding as it is perfect for having many guests.
I look forward to returning!

I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks, and I enjoyed every second of it.
The service was great, the food was perfect, the rooms were very cozy, the location was perfect ( 2 steps from the beach ), and the drinks were awesome!
During my stay I also went diving, and it was fantastic! I saw many colorful fish, corals , and more! And all for a reasonable price!
To everyone that wants to visit Sosua I recommend Hotel "Coral Blanco"!!!

We had a fantastic time at Coral Blanco during our two weeks stay over 2014 winter holiday season.
The hotel is a boutique style and the owners, as well as the whole staff, went the extra mile to make our vacation experience a very personalized one.
It is located in quiet zone of Sosua about 15-20 min walking distance from city center but within 100 meters from a little wonderful beach, Playa Chiquitta, which we really enjoyed.
Our accommodations, which were enough for our family (2 adults + 2 kids), consisted of a bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a living room with a reclining sofa plus a terrace opening to the outdoor pool.
Note the room has also a refrigerator which is very handy, a TV which he did not even think to use plus an air conditioner for which we had no use either given our stay during the winter season.
Now a few words about the food... you can't get more personal than that, right?
With plates of fresh fish, cooked in salt or smoked or specific Ukrainian dishes and salads plus the delicious tiramisu or panna cotta and culminating with "buche de Noel" our taste buds were spoiled evening after evening. A must… Alina's pelmeni and, as well respected Canadians, the chicken wings on the BBQ.
But this is not all, Alina and Vadim, the owners, were very helpful organizing for us our getaways to “27 Charros” and New Year in Cabarette. Their knowledge of the ground helped us further trying new things such as surfing at Encuentro and visiting Ocean World in Cofresi.
All in all, starting w the premises, continuing w the staff and finishing with the overall ambiance, everything contributed to a vacation to remember.
PS. One more thing... Alina and Vadim organized our pickup from the airport too... can't beat that when traveling with kids.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The rooms were cleaned daily and the place was definitely as described on the site. I had two issues, the first issue is that it was 7 of us and we only had hot shower water the first day. The remaining three days the shower water was cold and we were really disappointed about it. Second issue was that the owner booked all 7 of us on a private Yacht who he subcontracted for us. During that excursion we were promised beer/liquor and a BBQ or Sandwiches , and we only got Beer and not much liquor, mind you we were on the water for 5 hours with no food. That is unacceptable, the owner did call the company and let them know he was unhappy about it though. I thought with the water issues and the food issue we should have gotten some sort of refund pertaining to those issues but we did not. Everything else about the place was good other than what I mentioned. We would stay there again but the owner has to fix these issues and do better follow ups when booking excursions for guests.

Response from Vadim365drw, Owner at Hotel Coral Blanco
Responded 19 May 2017
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to let you know for the future that we have hot water with solar system as well as electricity which we can turn on per your request. We just need to know about the problem. Next time please ask. Private yacht tour is very popular, that is why we recommend it. Normally they have food and alcohol, but it is bonus to attract more clients. We can not be responsible for other companies service, we can just make the point, and make warning for the future which we did and will do.

Visited as part of a group of 3 and we had an amazing time. It's close to a small beach but within swimming/kayaking/walking distance to a bigger beach. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious and made with love, and the owners (Vadim and Alina) were always attentive and available to attend to our needs.
My stay was an absolutely pleasant one because of them and their staff, and i will definitely recommend this place. I hope to be back soon.

This was our last stop on our 3 week trip in Dominican Republic and we were surprised that the pictures we saw were actually true haha :D The staff was really helpful, they were honest and for example told us that the nightlife in Sosua wasn't that great (if you are 3 girls looking for some clubbing) and advised us to go to Cabarete (the village next to Sosua) and it was good decision!
The food was really good and the price was reasonable. And for example, we wanted to taste the other local beer Bohemia and they didn't have it, but the next night they bought it just for us to try it! And when the white wine ran out, they quickly went to get some more so we can enjoy our last night there :) We also got to play some Finnish songs at the bar and we had great conversations with the owners (the couple from Ukraine)
These are maybe little things but made us feel very welcome. For us it was the most important thing but if you need to know the basics, the room was also large, cleaned every day and they serve 3 different breakfasts:)
And the song was: Robin: Hula hula :D Spread the word!
Regards from the drunky Finnish girls,
Laura, Sanna and Sara :D

First off for the value if these mini suites, I find very reasonable. The room me and my wife got was clean and spacious. The owner was great and very informative. they have their own eating restautant by the pool under a nice hut. Food is great because it is made with love. I would Definitely recommend this place before a horrible resort. And another plus is that a beautiful beach is 2 minutes walk :)

The small beautiful beach Playa Chiquita just 100 meters (300 ft) from the hotel, minute walk.
Sorry I don’t know what you’re asking.
Wifi 10 mbps, this is the maximum from the provider in DR.
In the near future promise 50 mbps. We choose the best of the possible.
Sorry, but we not provide facilities for wheelchair accessable.
The hotel rate only work only for a short term. Thank you.
