Reasonably priced in the heart of the city and friendly people made for a great stay. If the interior was updated I would given two more stars. By adding a microwave, newer furniture and stronger wifi this place would be a dream. The location is excellent near everything.

As with most places in the Dominican Republic, there are areas that need improved, but overall I was quite comfortable.
First, the negatives. The property is located 1/2 block from the main party spots in Sosua, so noise is an issue. The room could also use some maintenance, a few spots with peeling paint and some rust on the kitchen appliances. There is only a small air conditioning unit in the bedroom, it does not have the capacity to cool the entire apartment. The water pressure also fluctuates quite a bit.
Now for the positives. The property is located 1/2 block from the main party spots in Sosua. The property is secure with a locked gate and 24 hour security. Your room keys include a gate key. The rooms are 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, with a full kitchen and living room. The bathroom was spacious with a decent shower and hot water, although the hot water heater is not very large.
For a long stay they have excellent rates, and with the kitchen and living room, it would be a good choice, although for a short stay, it is a bit more expensive.
The property is only a 5 minute walk from the Metro station, a 2 minute walk from Rumbas, and is across the street from Rocky's.
I also have to give my thanks to Kelsey, the manager. He showed up very quickly to check me in, and when I checked out to move to a different hotel, he volunteered to drive me, rather than call a taxi.
Overall, I was quite pleased and would be glad to stay again.

I am a solo traveler that came here to enjoy the nightlife,eat great food, an meet new friends with everything in walking distance.If that's how you plan to enjoy your vacation this is a perfect location.The management an security was very attentive an any problem you have they are quick to resolve.the TV had plenty of channels, the bed was comfortable, an the shower had hot water. My only negative was a couple of lizard were in my room an I told the manager so he moved me to a room more to the right side of the building an I had no more problem.i had a friend that stayed on the left side of the building that had the same problem but it did not bother him.

I was met at the airport by the cab driver with my name on a large sign as per the agreement . I was safely and quickly driven to the compound. The one bedroom apartment was large and clean with a full kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, full size refrigerator and gas stove with oven. the bed was king size and a programable safe was in the closet. this is not a super lux hotel the furnishings while very serviceable could use an upgrade BUT the strip is right around the corner less than 200 hundred feet away!!! The beach is an easy and 10 min walk away. the well stocked super market a 3 min walk away. a convenience store is right across the street where I brought 12 packs of water and other sundry items. I made my own breakfast every morning because no one can make better omelettes than me. If you want to be right in the middle of all the action this is the place to be. There was no big sign or indication of the hotel which gave the property a private vibe. The owner was hands on and security 24/7 The cleaning lady came everyday with fresh linen and towels. TIP HER WELL she does a great job. This property is not a resort BUT IT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING. If that what you want out of Sosua you can do no better in my opinion. Oh one more thing The shower water is very HOT

Good I stayed at Sousa suites for 5 days and 4 nights. I am going to try and pull out the positives for this location. The Wifi was strong and reliable. The maids ensured my room was tidy and clean. Hot water was plentiful, and the kitchen appliances all worked as expected. Security was attentive. The price was affordable.
Bad It was not what I expected..this place is like an extended version of run down condos in the early 80's. Many nights I woke up hoping that nothing was crawling on me. The bed was horrible, I think a spring kept poking me in unpleasant pleases while sleeping. In addition there is no restaurant onsite.
Ugly, If you ask me would I stay here again, I would give you a definite hands down NO!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that I know or don't know....which includes YOU!

The room was perfect for my needs and everything was well within walking distance. Internet worked perfectly the whole time too. Was at this hotel in january. The manager and staff were excellent , helpful and very polite. The hotel is well situated in Sosua. Good place for single people who like to party.Rooms were clean and maid service every day. Recommend this hotel.

It is located at the best spot in Sosua. You are close to everything/ Very good security and the owner is excellent to deal with. No need for transportation. Everything is a 5 minute walk. At night you can walk to the clubs in 3 minutes. You always feel very safe.
