We have just spent 9 nights at Casa Serena and had a great time. The hospitality was second to none and you were really made to feel at home. The guesthouse is great, no problems with noise, the grounds are very well maintained, layout is good. The rooms are simple, most importantly the beds are comfortable and clean, the shower...

Having been at christmas, i revisited this beautiful island with my boyfriend in march for his birthday. Considering he has never been away before it was quite a culture shock for him, especially for a first holiday. Our hosts welcomed us into their stunning home and were very helpful in giving us ideas about what to do during our stay....

My husband and I had an Air Canada snafu so ended up having to spend 3 more days in the DR. We moved from our private villa to our oasis in rural Sosua. The hospitality was second to none. Rich and Richard are excellent hosts and work hard to make your stay in their home special. The other bonus for...

It was in an ideal location - away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Sosua to enable a pleasant stroll down before dinner, or to visit the beach. Our...

My wife and I with our two daughters aged 17 and 20 have recently returned from two glorious weeks over Christmas and the new year at Casa Serena. Our hosts Richard and Richi made us very welcome on our arrival and were never too far away, which made us feel very comfortable. Casa Serena, or the ‘white house’ is within...

My partner and I stayed at Casa Serena over Christmas 2005 for one week. We absolutely loved this secluded home from home. We had never been to the Dominican Republic before, so we wanted to have a safe, clean and relaxing place to call home for our weeks stay there. We really did'nt want to stay in an all inclusive...

Just a few words for our wonderful hosts, Richard & Richie. My boo, Laura, and I spent two wonderful weeks (7/15-7/29) in the northern coastal city of Sosua. Spending it in our 'white castle' was the most spectacular trip either of us had taken. The beautifully well kept garden and the solitude of the swimming pool left an indelible impression...
