If you are looking for a quite place to stay at reasonable price and not too far from the center, well we found it. This building that looks like a big villa from the outside, is a hidden away B&B type with about a dozen rooms, a pleasent swimming and big mango threes (mangoes were taken directly from the three and served for breakfast, fantastic!!!).
Marisela, the lady who manages it, always trying her best to make you feel at home.
Definitely will stay there again when in Sosua.

This small hotel is basic but is clean and the air conditioning works. It’s literally across the road from Playa Sosua but far away enough for quiet tranquility. The town is a short walk opposite direction of the beach. The beach is small and secluded and frequented by locals and long term snowbirds. I would stay here again for an economical stay close to the beach. The breakfast provided was full and was served.

After driving around, wondering if I was ever going to find a hotel, I saw the sign for this hotel and pulled over. I was immediately taken with how nicely the grounds were taken care of. There is a high wall around the hotel, so it wasn't immediately obvious what was on the inside. The wall around the hotel is nicely done though. It gives a feeling of security without making the hotel look like a fortress as some of the others in the country do.
The Good: The owner was on hand nearly all the time. She was very friendly and extremely helpful. If I had a question, she had an answer. The rooms were also nicely done. They were very clean. Some of the wooden furniture showed some evidence of humidity exposure but all in all, the room appeared to be updated. Because of the hotel's smaller size, I was surprised at how spacious the rooms were on the inside. The pool was just a short walk away and the ocean along with many shops were just beyond the trees across the road from the property. The hotel is just close enough to Sosua to be downtown quickly but not so close as to have the constant noise from the party go-ers.
The Questionable: Internet was only in the veranda area. If the veranda was busy, I would be uncomfortable taking care of business online. However, the signal was strong and the view was nice. Also, I had some issues with hot water in the room. I did not have time to rectify the issue as I had to leave by a certain time. I will say that I have no doubt in my mind that the owner of the hotel would have taken care of it quickly because she was very much about keeping the customer happy, which I appreciate.
The Bad: There was no bad for me at this hotel. The problems were small and in the long run overshadowed by all of the good.
I recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a cozy and affordable place to stay in Sosua. I fully intend to come back to this hotel again when I return to the country.

Most of the serves offered does not exist.
1. No bus serves to and from the hotel.
2. There is very little staff security lets any one enter the facility to include pan handlers.
3. They give you one choice for breakfast everyday one egg a slice of toast and a little fruit salad.
4 When I was about to leave in the evening it's hard to catch a taxi.
5. It's a very scary and unsafe hotel that should be reevaluated by trip advisor

Landing was middle of the night - so the hotel arranged the pick-up. The price from Puerto plata to hotel is 25 dollars - fixed prices.
As arrived middle of night we got cold presidente - overcharged as realised later.
Basic room, basic breakfast (included), wi-fi worked.
Near the airport and bookable in short notice (as we did).
Nothing special price/quality ok.

Almost in the middle of the very busy town of Sosua the Hotel Sosua is a very relaxing place. You can park your car inside the guarded little park with trees from where you walk to the main building. In this building are about twenty rooms and a large terrace from where you look down to the pool. On this terrace also breakfast is being served.
Rooms are clean with A/C and the room prices are very moderate. To get to the nearby beach, you have to cross the busy highway - we never did.

I found this place to be a very quiet location off of the main road and minutes to the minutes to the beach. The staff was very nice and room was very clean. I love the space and entire facility. It was one day but a good day well spent traveling solo.

+1
I liked: Good fare for a night. The breakfast was included in fare; just one, very good option. I got a spacious, clean room with a very comfortable bed. The room had a ceiling fan and air conditioned, both working well. There was also a minibar available. As per other areas, the hotel’s got a beautiful garden and a nice swimming pool. I was happy that I could get the closest beach just across the main road (like a 5 min walk); nice beach, by the way, visited mainly by locals. Hotel is close to Sosua. Other thing is that I could practice my run safely just around the hotel. Service just fair enough.
I did not like: Roughly at 2 am a man and a couple of women checked in close to my room. Though there is an advertisement in the rooms asking for silence and to be quiet, they started playing music aloud at that time. Since they lowered the volumen, I guess they were asked to stop it , but they kept making noise for a whil; good for them, bad for me! It seems this hotel is used by couples (or more) just to spend some moments in there. Probably that’s why the shower was not exactly clean when I got the room; awful! Finally, the TV set did not function well enough.

I drove looks shady from the tiny sign of hotel and shady enterance. After that and you find the lobby/bar. Right of entrence after parking. It was nice. Bar very limited. Big rooms i was in 6 by the entry stairs ground floor and was great. Easy to walk to sosua or grab a moto. I walked for exercise and a grocery right at entry of sosua.
