Just back from a two week holiday in June 2011 to the Dominican. We stayed at the Casa Marina Beach & Reef Resort in Sosua. We had an absolutely amazing holiday, I would reccommend anyone to go there apart from the hotel. Everything about the holiday was amazing except a few niggles. The pool wasnt cleaned every morning so we...

We had a room beside the pool. It was a good sized room and kept very clean by the maids. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fresh water chiller in the corridors where you can refill your bottle. The choice of food was very good, the waiters and barmen were really nice and very polite. The entertainment team...

Ok, so we were told to "not expect much" prior to staying there, from others who had been there before. So, our expectations were not terribly high. but we found the overall resort to be just fine...buffet was good, although not as much variety from day to day as some resorts. We basically had beach to ourselves, since most people...

I spent two weeks here in May 2011. Having stayed there in 2004 I expected a lot more. Since then the hotel had had little, if no work done on it and the decor was identical but in a much shabbier condition. The room was adequate but fridges have been removed in recent years it would seem and there were...

I'm not much for lots of info, but here goes. We arrived here on 5 May for 2 weeks. We were welcomed at hotel entrance with a rum punch. Check in was no problem. Porter took our cases to our room and made sure everything was working. We were on the beach side. Room was large and just modernized. The...

I had a great trip at this resort. I arrived May 10th on a tuesday. I was supposed to stay at the Beach side, however, it was really dead for this time of year so they were sending most guests to the Reef side. It does not make a difference as to which side you stay on you can walk...
