I stayed here for 2 months, The staff are very friendly and it is a great place to meet people of all walks of life. Good times, Great food and very good prices!!! If you are looking to surf, kite or simply relax Alis is good due to the fact that it is set a little bit back from the...

This is the perfect spot for independent travellers in the Dominican Republic. The hostel (really called Ali's surfcamp) was packed with young Europeans and Americans in Cabarete to do water sports and enjoy the vibrant nightlife. The owner offered a "meal deal" (breakfast and dinner) for a reasonable price, and the dinner was suprisingly tasty. One of our better meals...

I have been to Alis Surfcamp in may 2012 and I absolutely loved it. This was probably the best part of Cabarete! We stayed in a so-called studio room, which was absolutely nice and clean. It had a kitchen in it, a dining table + the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom really nice! We only paid US$20 each...

Owned by German and run by international team the camp does not rely on local Dominican standards of service and quality. Which is a big advantage. Everything you ordered is ready by the time of your arrival, service is excellent. If you booked surfboarding or kiteboarding lessons, the camp minivan will drop you on and off the surfing school, which...

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. They have a large variety of rooms, ranging to very cheap rooms with no AC to 1 bedroom apartments that are really nice with hot water and AC. The people here are amazing! They have an awesome restaurant where everyone goes for dinner each night, you meet cool people from all...

Five of my friends and I wanted a fun Spring break that was not the stereotypical rowdy and messy week but instead a combination of activity and great night life. Ali's Surf Camp was the IDEAL scenario. The staff is incredibly helpful, the meals are AMAZING, and the accommodations are exactly what you need for a week of surfing. There...

We stayed in the upstairs apartment. It slept 4 adults comfortably. We each had our own bathroom. It had a kitchen and a big balcony. We went in December. We went to surf. The waves were good. We just rented their boards, instead of bringing our own. It was a lot less hassle and the boards were satisfactory. There is...

Nice place, good atmosphere, nice staff, i'd recommend it staying her if you're visiting cabarete. I stayed in the tarzanhouse for a few days and in a bungalow for a few days, both were nice and pleasant. During my stay i had dinner at the on sight restaurant, food was nice too. If i'm ever in the area, I'd stay...

On Frebruary 4th we reserved a room through HostelBookers.com and we paid 10% of the total price with a credit card. When we arrived at Cabarete Surf Camp there was no availability. We had to find another place at night instead of enjoying our night after 3 hours driving. We got no refund, no excuse and it seemed to be...
