We were welcomed in June for a cousin's wedding snd truly wish we could have stayed at this hotel. We spent most of our trip at Barefoot due to all the events hosted but even when there was no event we would show up. The location is ideal, you have the ability to disconnect from everday stresses and kick back...

This is our second time coming to Barefoot and the moment we step in we decided this is were we are going to have our wedding. Once you walk through the wooden doors the sound of the beach surrounds you and are greeted by Andres. He provides your keys and assist with luggage. When you enter your guest room its...

We just returned from our short trip to the Dominican Republic. We arrived extremely late because of the Caribe Tours bus (never do this! They say 3-4 hours when it took us 6 hours from Santo Domingo to Sosua) and Andres greeted us at the gate with our keys in hand. Even though there was a language barrier, they were...

The hotel is about 1.5 miles from the center of Las Terrenas and that can be good and bad. Good: Incredible views of the ocean. Peace and quiet and a large room. If you want to cook the kitchen is very nice. The guy who takes care of the property has a wonderfull energy and made me fell home. Bad:...

A small hotel (probably 8-10 rooms) but a perfect place to relax by the Caribbean. It is off the main road so you are away from the traffic and other noise. It is in a beautiful setting and the staff are superb.

We just returned from having our dream wedding in the Dominican Republic. Even though we had our wedding at a friend's place in the DR, Barefoot Beach Pad was extremely accommodating to our friends and family. Our family that stayed at Barefoot could not stop talking about how amazing it was, so we found ourselves spending the day there as...

I wanted "out of town" and didn't want a "resort" property. La Rinconada is about a mile into Cabarete via beach walk or roadway walk. (I did both daily for a week.) Hector (owner's brother. speaks English well) the manager was extremely accommodating. Andres the cook, gardener, etc. was great. We spoke Spanish all week long. I had a corner,...

We stayed here in Feb 2013. Secure parking on site and free wifi in the rooms. The apartments, each with a balcony were large and basically furnished with a comfortable bed. The room was clean and the kitchenette adequate. The location is quiet and the apartments are around a pool and right on the beach. Breakfast is provided in the...

Obviously this guest misunderstood what our free "continental breakfast" includes. And we have to thank him for his feedback because we realized that to avoid any confusion in the future we had to specify that our "continental breakfast" consists of: coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam and tropical fruits or smoothies.

Our return trip to Barefoot Beach was every bit as outstanding as our first- even better as the room was right out in front on the beachfront with the waves practically under our balcony. The property is beautiful, the beach front outstanding, but what sets the whole experience apart is the people. Hector, Andres and Andrea take care of you...
