We arrived on Saturday night at o the hotel at 7 pm and they had no record of the reservation that we had made by phone with their employee a couple of days before. We were told that they couldn't help us. We drove around for an hour until we found another hotel to spend the night.

Hotel San Miguel can offer an excellent location, very close to the center, clean and large rooms with private bathroom, a private parking (3 quadros far from the hotel) and very helpful and careful staff. Only the wifi connection, although available in all rooms, needs to be improved.

Great value and location. stayed two nights with my girlfriend. They had good facilities but you had to pay for breakfast in the morning which was quite expensive compared to other places in the centre. Staff very very friendly. About 12min walk to Zócalo. I would happily stay again

I stayed here 3 nights and it was very comfortable. Everything is in walking distance, and the rooms themselves are very clean. The wifi tended to be weak on the third floor where my room was, but I could sit in the lobby our outside my room if I really needed it.

We stayed a couple of days excellent service from the staff, great price, close to la marimba park. The room is small but finally we were there only to sleep. Air conditioning worked just fine. I would suggest booking a place with a balcony price difference is minimal. If you are looking for a low price this is the place.

We were in supreme room, looks like in pics except for walls which were dirty and need repainting. Hot water, big beds and clean. But loud because of the street nearby. we do not understand why the cleaning lady put our (private) staff in closet, bags, etc and moved our staff.in general, positive surprise

I don't normally write reviews but this place was so bad I felt I should. We booked late and most places in town were booked out so we ended up here. "Hotel" staff put us in a room RIGHT NEXT TO THE LOBBY and proceeded to make noise all night - staff had absolutely no concern for their guests' sleep.... More

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Hostal San Miguel in order to pick someone up who was flying into Tuxtla Guttierez. For what it is, this place is pretty expensive. We stayed in a three bunk dorm with shared bathroom without aircon and boy was that a mistake. This hotel is like an oven. It bakes all day in the... More

We stayed here for two nights en route to somewhere else, stayed in a private room, had a bunk with 2 beds and one single bed, 2 fans and a balcony and 3 lockers in the room. Also had wifi. Super super clean with crisp white sheets and fluffy white towels, quite warm in the room though although with the... More
