The room was spacious, the King size beds were extremely soft and comfortable. The location was excellent, close to nearby restaurants and the night-life (the boulevard). Enclosed parking at the back of the property. Has a Starbucks cafe and a restaurant too. Has indoor pool.

It was a nice hotel, and a decent room for the price. But at the end they tried to extort us saying that I just saw one of us touch a fire extinguisher and that we would have to pay 200 American dollars to fix the problem. I don't know if they do this a lot and hope that people...

There is a huge swimming pool inside the hotel that makes the room inside and outside very humid. It's even hard to breathe with this level of humidity + Mexican loud kids who shout happily while swimming will let you have a pleasant evening. Tv has only Spanish channels. It's a hotel for one night + overpriced breakfast

Rooms were clean, the free WiFi did not work. No elevator,so if you have bad knees or back be aware there are 3 or 4 floors. Bathroom very small but clean. Location was not central, but on a quite street at night.

Hotel Villanueva is in a great location to move around Chetumal. It has a pool which many Belizeans always look for, and it is large to allow for booking of large groups on the last minute! Their restaurant offers great food too! Breakfast at their restaurant is very good! For English speakers they now have tablets with the menu in...

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport. The rooms are spacious and updated. Our room had a strange smell. The bathroom was clean as it was the room but it was just not the hotel I expected. This hotel is not fancy, not particularly enchanting. The lobby has good taste and is welcoming, and the restaurant is also too simple, but good enough. Considering it is VERY PET FRIENDLY the price is OK, and although it could be cleaner it's a good option. Staff was friendly and helpful. Accessible & safe parking.
