We had a week at The Galla Hotel over New Year and it was
lovely. We are 2 families of 4 so we had 4 rooms on the 5th floor next to each other. The rooms are so clean and spacious. The beds are huge and one of the best bathrooms in a hotel we have stayed in. The breakfast is buffet and was delicious. There are enough choices to suit everyone and the staff constantly replenish the food. The hotel can organise tours and transport for you. We visited nearby hotsprings and waterfalls and got transport from the hotel. It is a family run hotel and all the people were lovely and so friendly. We really felt welcome. The pool is lovely and clean and the cafe serves great meals as well as room service and poolside snacks. Our kids loved the KitKat milkshakes. My son and I celebrated birthdays while we were in Ranong and we were surprised one night with a brthday cake and all the staff singing. It really is a lovely hotel in Ranong. I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Reception was friendly, check in easy. They arranged transport to the walking street make it easy to enjoy the local fare. Although had to depart early the next morning, they arranged for preparation of boxed breakfast to be ready upon departure. Would stay again.

Good for an overnight stay, especially when the price is considered.
The staff are nice and very friendly, but there are some drawbacks -
You are on a busy main road, the bed is stupidly firm, and no hot water at the hand wash basin, however bthe shower is good.
There is a nice (authentic) Korean restaurant on site and the breakfast is okay.
On balance, our last visit to Ranong we stayed at the Sook (just up the road) and this comes out slightly better.

This was one of my favourite hotels on our trip of Southern Thailand. New, modern, clean rooms with fast Internet and room safe. Plenty of parking. There is a pool and a restaurant serving Korean and Thai food. I had a very nice Korean meal for dinner. Staff very pleasant. Recommended…would stay here again.

The hotel is about 3 years old. Very clean and new feel but our bedroom door for example could not open properly as it had either dropped or expanded in the damp.
The room itself was bright and well appointed. It was also very quiet. The pool area is small and sits beside the restaurant area.
Breakfast was busy and the area to small when hotel is nearly full.

I stay with my family for 1 nigh, the hotel very new BUT what I saw are mismanagement, misdetail design so the function in each area not proper. The Lobby is BIG but empthy and there is 2 big poth empthy and plastic cover still on,security and some staff just sitting at parking and smoking,Room there is not well function, safety box doesn't work, next to bed there is space but make funny unused, towel put on bad, soap and shampoo in sink area, water pressure very low,and we saw small paper with all things with price and will charge is missing, also we informed at our room only have 1 mug but no one come to add,,till we check out.Front office very poor service,FB not proper information, also there is no food tag,so we don't know which one,or what kind of food, halal or non.management should be looking for some one who can operate and maintain well.

It was our first time in Ranong.
Hotel stay was really comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was interesting with a Bibimbap section.
We have to give credit to Pinn who was so helpful in arranging our islands tours for us.
Will definitely stay again when we visit Ranong.

The reception is friendly but not really professional. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the pool is comfortable and clean. Rooms are small but very well design bed is comfortable and Wi-Fi work nicely most of the time. Only problem we had is that rooms and reception smell like cement.. probably because it was just completed two months ago. We find the hotel a bit pricey but overall good value to stay in Ranong.
