Baan Thai Resort is very close to the Golden Triangle only 2-300 meter walk to visit the view point at Phu Kho Temple. Nice and clean hotel , all staff are very helpful and friendly. The food at hotel's restaurant is very good taste but if you need some snack 7-11 is not too far.

Location of the hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the golden triangle statue. The village is outdated and not much or nothing to do in the evening. Only shop open was 7 eleven. Food in the hotel restaurant was good, good portions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms in the hotel are spacious. The wooden houses seems to be smaller and less comfortable. Shower was dramatic, the entire bathroom will be filled with a few cm water.

We was stay over night in this place for 2 nights. Staff very friendly and clean room. The place near to big buddha and opium musieam. But the place near to morning market around 5-6 o'clock you cannot sleep well because of noisy from cars, motocycle and speaker anouce from the village. May be we were there for long holiday for Thai people. But if you go to golden triangle do not miss to stay here!

This is a great hotel for the value for your baht. It's near everything; there's not much there anyways. 7-11 is a walk away. The Opium museum, the view point, the pier to get across to Myanmar & Laos are close by. I had a good sleep there, and will be back again
