When I stayed last time there were lots of services at the hotel. Service at the pool was prompt and they took US dollars. You could get massages too and rent ebikes. That's all gone now. We were put in a room beside the school and you can imagine the chanting at all hours. I politely asked the people in...

This is my second time at the Kaday hotel and fourth time in Bagan. The low score is partly due to the constantly poor quality and over-priced nature of hotels generally in Bagan, and partly due to the old and dirty nature of this particular one. I should say that the kind of run down dirtiness found at the Kaday...

Extremely helpful staff but room was located under pidgin roof (quite loud all night long), the street was also louder than we expected to hear. Scooter rental is right in front of the hotel (we rented ours at 5am for the sunrise, just ask the guy - it's 8000MMK per day). Otherwise, nice atmosphere just missing a young vibe.

Quirky perhaps, but if offered everything we needed. Beautiful gardens, swimming pool, good cheap food and drinks. The staff were exceptional, from the chambermaids to the manageress. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the centre of New Bagan where there are banks, travel agents etc. Pleasant walking through the local streets. Temples close to the hotel.

The hotel is set in lovely grounds located in a quiet location about 5 minutes walk from the main road. We had a suite which is a bit of an overstatement but the rooms were fine, quite spacious and comfy but with the dark wooden flooring and brickwork they were a bit gloomy inside even with the lights on. Breakfasts...

I can't fault our stay because the hotel is cute and rustic and has plenty of charming outdoor spaces with flowers everywhere. The rooms are adequate and comfortable for the price, and the bathroom, though plain, is roomy and modern. Staff are helpful and try to meet our needs as best as they can. We stayed three days, and only...

We stayed at the Kaday Aung over Christmas. I discovered the hotel on Booking.com and it looked lovely. When we arrived it appeared fine but when we checked in our rooms, we found they needed some attention. Things were not bad, just tired and in need of some sprucing up. The staff, although very friendly, sometimes lacked service skills, which...

I was a bit concerned about the reviews before staying here but picked it on price and the pool. We stayed in the basic room and yes the walls are thin but we were up early most days so it didn't bother us. Our room was clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast is good and varied. Ebikes are good and...

Could be a great hotel with a little love & attention. Nice layout, pool area, restaurant & reception area. Staff very friendly. We had suites with a lot of wood happening in the room!! Bathroom was dated & old & needed a good clean or renovating. Restaurants in walking distance. Quiet area. Plenty of staff sitting around, pity they did...
