We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect balance of nice rooms, beautiful view, good social culture with other travellers, great value and friendly staff. We spent the afternoon looking at different guest houses in Rantepao before deciding on this one, the location of Pia's is about a 15 minute walk from the centre of town or a...

We stayed here for four nights in January 2016. The hotel is very comfortable, with great beds and spacious rooms. It's very clean and well maintained. Especially for the price, it's a great find. The food in the restaurant is not bad either!

I had such a lovely experience here. Beautiful gardens, clean, well maintained rooms, just basic, which is what you expect for the price, but really good value for money. The food in the restaurant is also excellent. And the people are lovely too.

A relaxed atmosphere with excellent food available from their restaurant. The Pa'piong pork dish (prep pic below) was our favorite. Easy place to meet other travelers and make onward travel plans. They even made a beautiful cake for a fellow traveler on his birthday. An easy place to recommend.

Great place to stay with helpful staff, just beware of some touristic guides who does not belong to the homestay and hang around the entrance to "help" the tourists: some of them are not very honest. The price at the homestay are affordable and the staff is very helpful: they reserved for us a late bus to Makassar and before...

We stayed in Pias Poppies for three nights and it was great! The rooms are really nice for a good price. The hotel staff is very helpful and gave us a lot of advice on what we can do in toraja and how to get to different places. We also had traditional toraja food in the restaurant and it was...

The hotel itself is really nice with a restaurant and social area out front and rooms in the back looking over part of the town and hills beyond. The staff were really helpful with any questions and the food was very good. The family who owns the hotel took me along to a funeral ceremony which was the highlight of...

The family who runs the hotel is truly really ffriendly. They help You with a lot of stuff. I tot the cheapest room but for solo travelers it remains quite expensive since there are no single rooms. So You are paying for a double. Breakfast is not included but the supermarket is close and the market is a bit further...

The hotel has a clean and great atmosphere and the food is absolutely amazing (tried chicken in bamboo and grilled chicken)! I made a reservation for an evening arrival but had to change it to a early morning arrival (6am) next day and they didnt charge me money for that night. The rooms are big, simple and clean. The eating...
