We stayed here three nights during our visit of tana torajas. The rooms are clean and big, bathroom is good. We payed 175000 excl. breakfast. Unfortunately the surrounding is very loud (cocks, frogs and electropumps during the whole night) but you get used to it. Food is overpriced and quite european and you have to order it one hour in...

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bathroom is quite nice. The staff is very friendly and kind hearted. The breakfast is delicious and a good size portion. The place also rents scooters (not in the best condition though, you might want to check out a place in town) and even Mountainbikes. It is situated right next to a...

Place is nice, rooms super clean, good bed, hot shower (depends when you take it). Nice personnel, and can speak English. Problems was roosters all around, and wifi difficult to connect. Also breakfast was expensive, but you are not forced to take it. And excellent hotel anyway.

I stayed here as a base for 4 nights. Very good value for money. I booked a single room, but got a twin which meant having more space than expected. Rooms are quirky but clean. Bed isn't the most comfortable but it did the job. Shower was hit and miss. One time it was hot and the next time it...

We were visiting Tanah Toraja in April 2016 and stayed in this guest house for a few days. Our room was on the ground floor facing a grass field and a church and a mountain in a distance. The rooms on the second and third floors have a better view but if you have a lot of luggage, you might...

Came very early at this hotel and the owner allowed us to directly have our rooms, it was six in the morning. Room is spacious and clean. They gave fresh towels and soap in the bathroom. The king size bed is 200 cm x 200 cm, which is pretty large size for single occupancy. We made a phone call to...

This hotel offers a nice atmosphere for a reasonable price. The room with private bathroom was very clean and big enough, and because of the cooler climate we didn't miss ac or fan or even a mosquito net. The staff was friendly and very helpful, supporting our transfer to Makassar. You enter the hotel by the very nice restaurant were...

Despite being a starting point for trips around Rantepao does not have much to offer form middle budget travellers. Couple of homestays are dirty and/or stinky and name them basic would be an undestatement. Pia's Poppies is an exeption from the rule being both reasonably priced and very cosy place. The staff is helpful, rooms modest but nicely designer and...
