Haveli heritage inn is a perfect place to stay! It is actually a family home, run by 2 brothers who are incredibly genuinely kind, speak perfect English and helpful in every respect- completely safe and secure - rooms provide lots of natural light, set about 2 tranquil courtyards that all provide a little peaceful sanctuary amid the bustle of Ajmer...

Worth stopping on the way to/from Pushkar, right by the railway station, we enjoyed our stay in the spacious room number 2, where Gandhi stayed. Home cooked food was delicious, excellent service from the staff, highly recommended!

Arrived in Ajmer and found this place about 500 metres from the train station. Just off the main road with a sun filled courtyard. No restaurant but they do provide Indian style breakfast, lunch and dinner on request. Great food, Great people and overall an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed in an inexpensive first floor room. The upstairs rooms are spacious and elegant and probably an excellent option for the price. We had thought we would stay 2 or 3 nights but we stayed 6. Laloo was so helpful with everything we wanted and nice to talk to. Rajivji took us out to his farm and around the...

The real selling point of this heritage inn is the personal service. The family who run the guesthouse are extremely friendly and I had a unique evening, starting with sampling the delicious and generous thali (variety of smaller dishes), and then listening to the numerous stories of the two brothers with a nice cup of chai whilst a thunderstorm rumbled...

Spent 3 nights here as a base for Pushkar in a double room for 1300 - this was during the camel fair so we hoped to save money whilst visiting the fair via bus. Although quite worn and tired, we had a comfortable stay here and would recommend to anyone stopping in Ajmer, especially as backpackers, or as a base...

Dear Mr.Phillimore, We are extremely thankful to you for finding time to write such a good review for the HAVELI. Being a very personalised, private, home setup, hospitality and warmth,is an A'Priori consideration with us ,rather then anything else.Hence, the breakfast and the money, asyou mentioned, was the least we could have done,to make you feel comfortable and at home.We are sorry about the money problem...

Convenient and friendly enough, rooms are overpriced in comparison to similar in Rajasthan so try a get a fair price (probably 25% less than quoted). Has a courtyard where staff can organise a beer. They also do meals that are ok but expensive (plus they add tax), better to go to Mango Masala a 5 minute walk down the road...

The haveli is very centrally located, right next to the railway station. The service at this place was very good. The caretaker of this property takes care of all your special needs. We only had breakfast here, which was good. I believe they just need to renovate the rooms and courtyards again.

Excellent little Haveli in Ajmer with a home feel! The two brothers who run the haveli are very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Ajmer has plenty to offer so make sure to stay at least two nights. The haveli offers home cooked meals, which are delicious and the general atmosphere is great. Looking forward to returning!

I'm bike touring across India and came across this place by chance after getting terribly sick and having practically crawled my way to Ajmer. The owners are awesome. The staff member is amazing. Anything I wanted they got me, and were always making sure I was ok and comfortable. A pretty quiet setting for India. I stayed in one of...
