This is a "permanent" tented camp, meaning the tents have wood floors and the overall accommodations and service are higher than in a standard tented camp. The buffet meals are extensive and tasty. The bar is well stocked. The staff is attentive and cheerful. And, the views from the lodge deck are incomparable. Watch out for the zebras, hippos and...

We had a wonderful one night stay at Lake Masek Camp on Christmas Day. We arrived hot and tired after a long day on Safari but the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the setting is beautiful and the tents so luxurious, we had a lovely roll top bath in our tent, a gorgeous outdoor shower and a massive bed....

We stayed at the Masek Tented Camp for 3 nights as part of a tour of the national parks of Northern Tanzania. It's an amazing location, perched on a hillside over the lake and surrounded by bush which is part of the greater Serengeti eco-system. Overall service and quality of facilities is good rather than absolutely first class, but the...

We stayed 2 nights at this Camp. We were a family of 5 with one person in a wheelchair. I was overanxious about accessibility and had requested for a tent closer to the main area. There was a lot of assistance, the Masai people working there helped us lift the wheelchair to get into the tent where there are 6...

This was one of our favorite tented camp sites, mostly because of the people who worked here and how kind and hospitable they were. A few names we remembered (Yosuf, Joyce, Nina and Paul) who treated us so well and went out of there way to make us feel at home. This site overlooks Lake Masek and we enjoyed seeing...

My family and I stayed here for two nights in late June, and had a great time. This is the "off season" in the Ndutu area (it's after the migration moves on), so we got a good deal at this super-luxury tented camp. We saw a ton of wildlife, including a pre-breakfast game drive at which we saw 22 separate...

The tents overlook the lake and have a deck at the front of the tent. The staff was exceptionally helpful and happy. The tents are charming with lots of character. There is a tub in the tent and a wonderful outside shower with an open top (nice showing under the stars). So nice to fall asleep listening to the sounds...

We stayed here with a family of 3 - My father, my sister and I on a recent safari. This place was wonderful. The tents ( raised platforms) were very spacious and well appointed. They put a 3rd bed in for us all to share, there was plenty of space for it and it was the same at the two...

Masek tented is within spitting distance of Lake Masek. Staff were friendly and efficient. You are completely at one with nature here and so no walking around the lodge without a Masai warrior to accompany you. The rooms were luxurious and spacious. The "moonshower" was a definite must try and I loved that feel of showering under the stars. The...
