I rented a single room for a few nights. Very nice people, clean rooms, hot water, mosquito net, and fan; and my room only cost about $10 a night. The only downside that I can think of is the lack of WiFi, but you could go to an internet cafe if you need to. Close to the main street and...

Great hotel! Nice staff and nice rooms. It's a budget hotel so no tv, no wifi. But that was no problem for us (there's a cafe next door with good food and wifi). The room was clean, as was the bathroom and we had warm water! There was also a ceiling fan which was pleasant. If you have a street...

This place from the outside doesn't stand out and when I first walked past it didn't give it a second look. However I'm so glad I went back after a recommendation from someone at the local Sikh temple. The rooms are big and clean with mosquito nets, fans, ensuite with hot water and a balcony. The thing that takes your...

Great budget hotel. Rooms are clean and upstairs you have a balcony with a view of Kili. Large room with a lot of space! Friendly staff at reception were ready to help us. There was hot water and mosquito nets too. There isn't any breakfast though so bring something with you or eat out.

We stayed at A&A (or Aa, or Hill Street Accomodation, it's not quite obvious what the official name of this place actually is) for a few nights while in Moshi. It's very very basic, but the rooms are very clean, the fan works, and the manager is friendly enough. Most importantly, for Tsh25000 a night it's the best deal you'll...

I really liked this place. The only down side is that there is no wifi, but you can go to Internet cafes. It is clean, comfortable, quiet, central, hot water. Charming staff and welcoming. I travel a lot, and this place is certainly a place I hope to return to. Ask for a room with view of Killimanjaro - just...

Spot on low budget hostel in the centre of the city and near the main busstation. Many eateries around the hostel too. For a best view of the Kilimanjaro go the abandoned railway station. You can get a bottle of Coke for only 600 shilling at the train restaurant.

Basic but nice place with a nice view. Friendly stuff and helpful. Moshi is small so everything is close by. There is nothing fancy, just rooms. It's not a place to meet more people, but a good place to rest.

I felt compelled to write a review about this hotel after I spent 2 nights there back in november 2012. We went to the hotel because it was listed in Lonely Planet, and we were looking for budget accomodation as we're travelling for once year in total. The first thing I noticed was that the hotel was absolutely spotless. After...

This place is listed in Lonely Planet but no one knows how to find it because it's tucked into a side alley. Hill Street in Moshi is one block long and takes about 30 seconds to walk down. You can find it. If you still can't find it, go to Glady's Adventures (right downstairs from A&A) and they can show...
