We stayed at The Point Hotel for one night only. We had a warm reception by Melanie and her team on arrival. Our porter was very accomodating while asissting with our luggage. The welcome drinks and well plated fruit selection in our room was a real treat. Our room had a stunning view of the ocean which made it very...

I had the pleasure of staying here and was blown away by the location of the hotel. It's not a massive hotel but the rooms are good and the cleanliness and service are excellent. They have a restaurant and an expert chef. This is the closest I have seen a hotel to the water and will definitely visit again!

They showered something absolutely different when they advertised the hotel. BUT it was absolutely rubbish. All the recognition and awards seem like a Scam. The staff which was very limited was absolutely kind. however very terrible experience. The food was a shame. terrible food. Not good quality nor enough choice. definitely not making good use of the view.

My friend is visiting from Japan, so I decided to take her to the restaurant located in The Point Hotel. We were the only customers in the restaurant. Overall first impression was good, as the place looks clean and pleasant. The views are truly amazing. At first our waiter was very attentive, brought the initial drinks to us as requested,...

2nd year the Hermanus Online team stayed at the Point Hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and the service was great. Spacious rooms overlook the Indian Ocean on the point and have large balconies. The morning breakfast buffet was quite good. I will recommend the Point hotel for any trip should it be business, family or couples. There were a...

A visit to the gents toilet on the ground floor will tell you all you need to know. Tired, poorly maintained, no evidence of attention to detail or engagement by the management or staff. Breakfast was uninspiring - the dassies on the rocks outside were more noteworthy.

The rooms overlook the rough water on the point and have large balconies The rooms were basic, and we found them a bit noisy, but the morning buffet was quite good. You can easily walk around town to small vendors near by, or up the steep hill next to the hotel for views of the area.
