We had a great 2 night stay at Gondwana Lodge. The guides were incredible and went the extra mile to make sure your preferences were met in terms of seeing the animals you'd like to see. Our accommodation was impeccable - very romantic and private at Kweena Lodge. A word of caution - don't be fooled by the romance of...

Gondwana is a privately owned reserve involves also in protecting wild life. Ranger (Megan) has made the rides extremely enjoyable. She made sure all the animals could be observed without disturbing their daily lives.

My stay at Gondwana was one of the most memorable trips I have had in a while. I stayed in the Kwena Huts on a Full Board package for 2 nights. The Hut was spacious, stylishly decorated, and very luxurious. The food in the main lodge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was very good. Dinner was a particular highlight and...

We loved Gondwana, it's pure luxury! The game drives were great too, we saw at least 1 of the big 5 on each drive we did. We would definitely come back. I recommend spending the extra and staying in the huts, they are fantastic!

We booked for 3 nights and came just in time for our first game drive. It was gorgeous! The views are stunning. They have lots of animals and you do need to look for them. The 2nd night our ranger Megan went after the lions. Such a good experience and lots of knowledge there! The cubs were adorable. The property...

Great game viewing and 4x4 experience. A small game reserve with a big heart, all the animals are free - which makes for proper game drives - can be cold early morning and late evening, take a thick fleece. Great accommodation and lovely staff. Breakfast is good but Dinner very disappointing - they need to change their chef.

The Gondwana Game Reserve is an excellent choice if you are looking for a genuine safari experience. The reserve is large enough for a 3 hour game drive without going over the same ground twice. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the trip extra special. We stayed in the Sunset Ridge Villa. Gondwana’s luxury private bush villas are the...

Once you are off the main roads, you ideally need a 4 wheel drive car. it takes about 5 minutes to the first gate and then a further 15 minutes to gate 2. Be careful with your suspension! Check in efficient and friendly. We stayed in one of the huts off the main hub. Spacious, clean, good en suite area...
