We had a wonderful stay in Botlierskop. Our tent was very comfortable. The staff and rangers were very friendly and competent. Our ranger Silas made every game drive for us to a very special experience. We saw every day many different animals. The food was always delicious and unique. We would recommend it to everybody, who does not have time...

We stayed here on the recommendation of a colleague and can't say how grateful we were. From the moment you arrive your every need is looked after and everything is made ridiculously easy with such amazing attention to detail - from check in to booking game drives and beyond. The location is stunning - a 3000 hectare estate of rolling...

A wonderful holiday. Great animals, very friendly staff, excellent food in a great atmosphere and a very cosy and luxury tent, which made the stay to a real Adventure! The guide explained everything very well at the game drive.

The service during our short stay was outstanding. The accommodation, meals and attention to detail were all excellent. We have been on many safaris but still found the reserve to be of interest. It is large enough to give an impression of open countryside. We had one horse trek, two game drives and a bush walk so a varied couple...

Arrived early afternoon, to be greeted by the most friendliest of staff. Lunch was just amazing and our room was impeccable. Game drive in the afternoon, saw all but a Leopard and out guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Evening meal was outstanding, buffet style interlaced with course served at your table. Again staff faultless, no matter what requests you put...

While doing the garden route with 3 families we all stayed here. Fantastic experience compared to staying in town. Didn't do any drives as we already had day plans. Rooms are very African and not your usual hotel room by any means. Great place! Lovely staff and fantastic food. Would stay here again if passing through.

We chose this game reserve because we did not want to drive too far out of Capetown. It was approximately a 5 hour drive from Camps Bay for us. The Botlierskop experience was exactly what we were looking for. The room in the tent was perfectly appointed with all the comforts of a luxury hotel while maintaining the rustic feel...

When you are in the valley you feel like you were in the wilderness, even if the place is very close to Mossel Bay. Our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the animals. We spotted quite a lot of them, including three lions in a closed-off section of the reserve.
