Together with our group of 9 senior Citizens, we enjoyed an excellent overnight stop at Kingfisher Lodge. The rooms were well-appointed, and the meals enjoyed by all. (dinner arranged in advance). The lovely tranquil garden was a real bonus, with interesting birdlife. Our hostess and her staff made our brief stay very relaxing.

The write up on the website and what you actually experience totally different. The owner was unfriendly upon our arrival, as I had to phone for the gate to be manually opened. My room was far from stylish. The decor was like someone went to a flea market and bought items and stuff it into the room. The bed was... More

I received a friendly welcome from the host, even though I arrived at 20h30. Rooms are comfortable and clean and parking are safe and secure. Breakfast was very nice and coffee out of this world. Will certainly visit again.

We loved our second stay at Kingfisher Lodge, loved the atmosphere, the trees, the staff, the room and the dogs! We especially enjoy that it is away from the bustle of GRT, and it's like staying in the country. Thank you.

The Units are very comfortable and well situated. We loved the idea that household fetched the used towels every morning and replaced with clean towels. The unit was also excellently serviced every day. The staff is well mannered and friendly and the grounds are kept neat and tidy. A lovely and comfortable stay indeed. Kieta Weyer

Home away from home is what the staff staying at Kingfisher Lodge had to say. Carina the hostess was very hospitable and helpful. Staff work away from home and this is the kind of care they require when they are away from the comforts of their own home.

The welcome i received and the room that is fit for a King lifted my spirit and filled my tired body with new oil. The bathroom smelled like my wife and that eased the longing. Kingfisher is the place for me . I will difanetly visit again

We stayed there on Sunday night 19 April Our room was adequate but (1) there was a strong sewerage smell in and out of our room We sat outside to drink our tea and couldn't bear the smell outside. (2) the breakfast time could rather be flexed(say 7h00 to 8h30) other than to be there at 7h00 as we were... More
