A popular choice for one or two nights before and after treks, it had a rather transient feel. Anyone who has spent time in Africa will feel comfortable enough but it may feel rather basic coming from outside. Good quality tiled bathroom, but the room (15) had very thin curtains and no switch for the outside light which made an...

I visited Muhabura prior to gorilla trekking. My room was clean & quiet, providing a good nights rest prior to hiking. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the beautiful gardens. The breakfast offered was not extensive, but the fruit platter was lovely. I have heard that warm breakfast dishes are available, though they were not offered...

Hotel is very simple. Rooms are simple, small, but enough clean. Restaurant serves good meal and you'll not be hungry. Wifi is available in restaurant, but works very slow with many breaks. If you plan gorilla trekking must stay there (Dian Fossey Room nr 12 is there). City is safe, no problem to take walk to the market. Cli mate...

I stayed in Muhabura the night before the gorilla trek. I only spend about 12 hours in this place so I might not have a complete picture, but I give this place 5 stars cause I had a very comfortable stay at a very very reasonable price. The bed was good and comfortable, there was hot water for a shower,...

Musanze's oldest hotel doesn't lag behind its more modern competitors, offering up everything a visitor could need at a very affordable rate. My spacious room was clean and comfortable (although the shower being at the angle it was meant the floor inevitably got wet), the restaurant has WiFi and an acceptable range of food, and the staff are all pleasant....

Comfortable hotel. Nothing luxurious but very pleasant staff. Free wifi. Pleasant food and bar. It is a typical hiker hotel where you have everything you need and is close to town and close to the starting point of trekking.

Actually at $35 a night it is a bargain. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was hot water in the shower. Main problem is there is not much to do here after you get back from your gorilla trek except sleep, drink or eat. If you want pampering spend the extra $$$$. Food in restaurant is pretty good except...

Muhabura is very accessible, located in Ruhengeri town Musanze District. It is a good point to stop over for Lunch when coming from Kigali on your way to Kinigi or even after the gorilla trek, travelers can stop over for Lunch before heading to Kigali. Their Restaurant serves Al carte menu with high level of hospitality

We went with Umubano Tours (great company) and they booked us for a triple here. The room was fine - hot water, clean enough - but nothing special. The food here was fine. It was a good size portion - but it does take about an hour to get. Breakfast was buffet style and good. It's a fine place to...
