My family and I stayed two times at Hotel Muhabura during our 6 months in Rwanda. The historic hotel really stands out as you drive out of Musanze toward Rubavu, as many of the other hotels are behind high walls and hedges. It's restaurant is one of the best known hotel restaurants, again in part because the patio is visible...

I ate lunch at the restaurant in Muhabura restaurant on a recent trip to Rwanda and Uganda. I was so pleased with my meal that my group returned for the subsequent 2 days! The ambience was very 'gorilla trek' (!) and took me back to the '70's and Dian Fossey's day. We were politely and promptly greeted and seated. The...

Service was good and food, except the chicken, was also good. The hotel rooms, though I did not stay in one, looked large and were very adequate. Prices were also good. Location was convenient and easy to find. Bar and terrace area pleasant to hang out.

We went to the restaurant for drinks one evening and while the selection and prices were good, the ambiance was pretty average at best. It just wasn't what we had hoped for. It has a patio but you can smell the car exhaust. The server was helpful.

I had just a lunch as we were on our way to Kigali. It seemed a nice and cosy place but neither beef nor fish was available. So I settled on spaghetti, which was good but took them 45 min to serve it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was slow.

We really enjoyed chilling out with a beer here the night before the gorilla trek. The room was pleasantly large, so finally had some space to sort out suitcase packing properly. Breakfast buffet was fine.

Stayed for two nights as part of a gorilla tour. Room was clean, hot water, free wifi and breakfast, attentive / helpful staff (cleaned our boots for a small fee), and a decent location next to the Volcano National Park. The restaurant had a varied menu, and certainly lent to unwinding after the treks. For the price I think we...

The TV is strictly for decoration and there isn't an abundance of hot water, but if you are looking for a cheap place to stay with good food before or after a Gorilla Trek, the place is great. Comfy bed, great patio to sit and watch the goings on and passers-by. If someone meets your eye, wave hello, they will...

Good size rooms. Amazing gardens full of birds and flowers and a couple of Golden Crested Cranes. This is the hotel that Diane Fosey stayed when she wasn't on the mountain. Her room is kept as she leftist and is available to view. Reception has a very good selection of local articrafts.

I think this is the oldest hotel in Musanze and was the where Diane Fossey stayed when she was in Rwanda and her room is a bit of a shrine at the hotel that you have to walk past! Room are old fashioned but on the whole fine and good value compared with other hotels. Breakfast included and very filling...
