The grounds are very attractive. The have two pools, one smaller one and one very large. The rooms are located in separate three story buildings, like a campus. Guess what? They furnish washcloths. The rooms are pretty basic, but comfortable. The bed was really hard. Breakfast was pretty simple and basic.

As part of our tour to Morocco and the Sahara we stayed at this hotel for two nights. Staff friendly and helpful but we had some difficulties with the staff understanding English. Grounds are well maintained and the setting is very pretty with plants, swimming pools and areas to relax outside. There are several buildings that house the hotel rooms....

This beautiful hotel is made up of a number of buildings spread out over a relative large area. Most buildings are in the “Kasbah” style. The building we were in had four large rooms on each of two floors, with the round “turrets” being where the bathrooms are. The rooms were very large as were the bathrooms. There are at...

Good accommodations in a very remote location. Room was adorned with stone full of fossils. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Language occasionally provided some challenges. The buffet breakfast was Moroccan and very good. The grounds were spectacular! WiFi was extremely slow.

After a long trip through the Atlas mountains the Palais du Desert was a lovely place to relax in a beautifully kept oasis of a garden in the desert. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the beds very comfortable. Unlike some other reviewers we didn't find either of the rooms dark!. The staff were very friendly and helpful - the...

Shabby, dark room. Sofa filthy and stained (fabric actually encrusted with dried out something). Restaurant totally forget able. TV operation a mystery. Staff friendly and helpful--brought a coverlet for the sofa). Pity.

This hotel has gorgeous grounds, but is a bit disappointing when it comes to making a first class hotel. Dark rooms, mediocre breakfast, A/C that didn't adjust, and the essentials that make for a memorable stay.

Even though the rooms and grounds are very nice, the hotel is far from being a 5 star hotel, though it has great potential. We were the only 2 guests and it seemed they did not have the air conditioning running long enough because the room was terribly hot at night. The food for breakfast did not seem very fresh...

It was lovely to come upon this place after a long day exploring. The rooms elegant and the pool close to our room a welcome relief. Food and bar very adequate. After an early morning call, we were close enough to the desert for a camel ride to watch the sun rise.

We stopped here after spending the night in the desert, because we were told the ride all the way to Ouarzazate would take too long. In retrospect, it would have been better to just have a longer day and avoid Erfoud. (Luckily, the weekly souk was in Rissani so we did have a pleasant stay, but were lucky we hit...
