Ok, Lake Naivasha water level has risen. This means there is a 50m swathe of dead trees in the water in front of this property. There is a 50m swathe of dead and rotting water hyacinth above this. This is not a romantic view of anything. The route to the resort is one massive building site fenced in on both...

This review is very very late and I have no excuse except laziness. My husband and I visited Kenya in 2015 for our honeymoon and this was one of the places at which we stayed. I wasn't expecting much but boy was I pleasantly surprised my this massive resort and even more so by our villa! Our villa was huge...

Older rooms but very comfy and good hot showers. Resturant food was very good. So was the service. Nice ground with pool for younger families. Lots of young families with children visiting on weekends.

I live in Nairobi and this place was ideal for a weekend getaway. The drive down was very scenic. The resort is just by the lake and since it was during the long rains the vegetation was lush and green. Very beautiful. There was wildlife walking arount the open lawn which made the views more magical. The room I got...

This place was good 20 years ago. Till this time no renovation was done. Old rust bath, unpaited celling, holes in walls. Place going down and down. There are lot of nice places in that area. For lunch you are waiting over an hour.

A budget hotel, good for when you are transiting or for a day. Limited and pricey menu social staffs though unattentive, was in the bar for an hour alone no one to refill the drinks, had to go looking for staff to settle my bill. The so called executive rooms is a disaster... Torned mosquito net, dim lit, queky beds....

Whatever determines the number of stars awarded to a hotel, my opinion is that this hotel is at best not more than a two stars hotel. Reasons are: (1) their tented rooms have seen their better days whereas appropriate maintenance has not been forthcoming over the years. Rooms, especially the so-called luxury tented rooms, are in pathetic conditions and are...

If you are looking for a short term place to stay on a budget, this place would suffice. I stayed in the tents. No hot water and the lights kept blowing out. Food was quite pricey but great! It also gets noisy at night due to music from nearby bars.

The experience there was too short for the opportunities there. Is a special resort, options to see the island which is near with organised trips with both to see the hypo's and the great constrictor snakes. Great food, friendly prompt staff
